Look UP

THE BUZZARD:
If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8 feet and is entirely open at the top, the bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will be an absolute prisoner. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground with a run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run, as is its habit, it will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for life in a small jail with no top.
THE BAT: The ordinary bat that flies around at night, a remarkable nimble creature in the air, cannot take off from a level place. If it is placed on the floor or flat ground, all it can do is shuffle about helplessly and, no doubt, painfully, until it reaches some slight elevation from which it can throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it takes off like a flash.
THE BUMBLEBEE: A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will be there until it dies, unless it is taken out. It never sees the means of escape at the top, but persists in trying to find some way out through the sides near the bottom. It will seek a way where none exists, until it completely destroys itself.
PEOPLE: In many ways, we are like the buzzard, the bat, and the bumblebee. We struggle about with all our problems and frustrations, never realizing that all we have to do is look up!

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up!
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Word in season

Lately the devil hit me with his best shot but I am still standing, Praise G-d!! I was praying for guidance and He lead me to read Isa. 50:4. “The L-rd G-D hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakened morning by morning, he wakened mine ear to hear as the learned.” Hallelujah He is not finished with me yet!

The Master got me out of bed last night to give you a word in good season:
“Times are changing, what man has made is crumbing but what I have made will stand!
It is not during a storm that you are to be praying, for I have already been pouring into you, for such a time as this.
You are to speak out My Word, stand tall and firm and step into your calling.
Do not be quick to judge the mismanagement of your economy, for who of you have not mismanaged your own a state? You have been blessed upon blessings and still you ask for more, ‘a give me, give me generation.’ There is a need to appreciate what you already have and to live within your means.
I have been speaking to My people for years to get their house in order, why should this be a surprise to them that the times now are changing?
During the storm is a time to assign the angles that are camped around you, speak in My Spirit; sending them to flight, to do My bidding.
It is a time of separating the wolfs from the sheep, who will be left standing for Me?
Remember that I am in control, and what was meant for evil I can work for the good, for I can take from the rich to give to the poor.
My eye is on the sparrow and you know that you know, I am watching over you!”

Bitter or Better

Isa. 50:4-8 The L-rd G-D hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakened morning by morning, he wakened mine ear to hear as the learned.
5. The L-rd G-D hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
6. I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
7. For the L-rd G-D will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
8. He is near that justified me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.

Bitterness is symbolical of affliction, misery, discontented and servitude.
1 Sam. 1:10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the L-RD, and wept sore.
2 Sam. 2:26 Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end?
Job 7:11 Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
Prov. 14:10 The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.
Isa. 38:15 What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.

We can get bitter or better when afflicted that draws misery and discontentment. Many afflictions may come in these last days, the adversary knows his time is running short and he will do all he can to throw you off course, bringing doubt and confusion.
Allow the Almighty, through His grace, help you get better in your walk instead of bitter.
Isa. 38:17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but Thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for Thou hast cast all my sins behind Thy back.
Heb. 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of G-d; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.

Keep your eyes open and stand your ground, no roots can grow without you watering it.

Exorcist

I went with a lady from our town to a church meeting in another town, at a so called ‘house church’ were Viola was speaking, a speaker from a different state. The message was for married couples, he even brought couples with him to give testimony, on how sins of the pass can affect today’s marriages.
Those that wanted prayer afterwards went down stairs; the lady I rode with went down, so I went to be there for her.
Everyone he prayed for he seen demons (that should have been a sign for me - but I was slow).
I do believe in demons, but not that everyone has them.
A lady I knew was there and came down stairs, and said how great he was in praying for her, he told her things only G-d knew (although it was things she already had been told many times). She pushed me forward for prayer (of course I could have walked away, so it is my fault for allowing it).
I went up for prayer for my back and knee, which he disregarded totally, and went in a different direction, stating first you have to get rid of the demons before being heal.
Before I left my home, the Holy Spirit told me to take my recorder, it was a good thing. I taped the conversation - you decide and let me know what you think. I told him I could not do a repeat after me that he had asked everyone else to do, for I usually can't talk when being prayed for, I usually cry or hyperventilate. He took it as a negative and publicly refused to pray for me 3 times, saying I was working with him.
I said I have been through forgiveness, and he answered that it was only a ritual not sincere. He indicated I had NO relationship with the Father because I was filled with spirits of hate, therefore I could not have a relationship with G-d.
He did call out to the two people he had seen me talking to, and said if they truly loved me to tell the truth – one remained quite. He did not even pause to give anyone a chance but the lady I road in with, spoke out, so he tried again to cast out what he thought was in me. He stated he heard it growl at him then quickly dismissed me again, for I told him I really do not believe I have any demons living in me, my Father would have shown me, and I was not the one that growl.
I played the tape over and over his group was standing behind me and beside me agreeing with him, saying “aha aha.”
I left totally humiliated, embarrassed, and defected, not worthy to get prayer for my back and knee. The lady I road with said that was pride, that I was upset because he did it openly. Many people think everything a speaker says is directly from the mouth of G-d, not using discernment.
This is one time I am asking for help and discernment. If I am wrong, then it needs to be corrected.

Heart Attacks

This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about Heart Attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating. For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal. Common Symptoms Of Heart Attack... A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting . Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line . You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

After reviewing acknowledgments of God from all 50 state constitutions, one is faced with the prospect that maybe, the ACLU and the out-of-control federal courts are wrong! (Please note that at no time is anyone told that they MUST worship God.)

Golden Years

L-rd, Thou knowest that I am growing oldKeep me from becoming too irruptive and possessed with the idea that I must express myself on every subject.Release me from the craving to straighten out everyone’s affairs.Keep my mind free from the recital of endless details – give me wings to get to the point!Seal my lips when I am inclined to tell of my aches and pains; they are increasing with the years and my love to speak of them grows sweeter as time goes by.Teach me the glorious lesson that occasionally I may be wrong.Keep me thoughtful, but not nosey, helpful, but not bossy! With my vast store of wisdom and experience, it does seem a pity not to use it all!But Thou knowest L-rd that I want a few friends left at the end. Amen!!

I go to Christian ladies meetings every three months. I serve and ministers were needed, then I disappear. We meet in a barn, which was my choice, for homes portray whom the people are, and is confiding, not an easy escape. Where a barn is open and one with nature, a save place, and I am freer to touch the heart of G-d.
See I have a problem with people praying over me, I can give but not receive. People have started to take notice, and do to a letter I received from a friend, who was sending it to someone else, sent me on a sleepless nights trying to annualizing why I am that way. Guess it is time to deal with this issue.
Love didn’t have a place in childhood and touching meant pain. Now I have overcome the touching as long as it is short and sweet, then it is like a greeting and not considered affection, but love is a four letter word that really meant being used. I was told I was unlovable to often and soon believe it was true, for I did not even love myself. My child doesn’t even say he loves me, so nothing has changed.
As long as I could remember I had a death wish, and ask G-d to take me home were I felt loved, for there was nothing left here on earth I cared to experience, and felt I had seen it all. He said “No, for I had not known love yet.” Well figured I would die a very old lady if I had to wait for that. I no longer have a death wish but maybe my time is come up since I am now going to deal with the issue. I walk into a place and see people as potential enemies that could hurt me so I keep my distance, even in family gatherings for they bite harder.
I’ve change churches, gatherings when it gets uncomfortable and people get to close. My circle is very small and only the ones who have been tested and tried have been allowed in.
I need to change my attitude and see people as potential accountancies that could become friends.
I need to stop running and stand firm, giving others a chance and see were the ball bounces.
Reprogramming one’s mind is not an easy thing, but not impossible with the Father’s help.
Come out of the negative into the positive.
Likes or dislikes is personal chooses and if one chooses not to accept me than the Good Book says to dust off the bottom of your feet and move on.
So “Father, I ask You to keep this to the forefront of my mind, and help me stay on the right path until it becomes a way of life for me. Help me not to get easily offended, become an overcomer of this issue. Help me become whom You meant to be.”
