Only G-d's Mercy

[Jeremiah 66: 7] O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee. [Testify - That You art righteous in what You have done. Do thou it - Do You what we stand in need of; give us rain, though not for our sake, we deserve no such kindness from You, yet for Your names sake: Your promise, or for Your honor and glory. Your name’s sake - We deeply acknowledge that we have sinned, and deserve nothing but death. Yet act for Your name's sake - work in our behalf, that we perish not. Jeremiah pleads in the name of his nation (Psalms 109:21). So "work for us," absolutely used (1 Samuel 14:6). "for our backslidings are so many" that we cannot urge You for the sake of our doings, but for the glory of Your name; lest, if You give us not aid, it should be said it was owing to our want of power (Joshua 7:9, Psalms 79:9, 106:8, Isaiah 48:9, Ezekiel 20:44). The same appeal to G-d's mercy, "for His name's sake," as our only hope, since our sin precludes trust in ourselves, occurs in Psalms 25:11. Like Jeremiah we need to plea for our nation! Repent of your sins.]

The Prophet Elisha's Mantle

Our desire for the prophetic mantle begins by being attracted to those carrying it. If we yearn for the prophet, we will gain the prophet's mantle. There is a common trend today to minimize the importance of close relationship; with all the new gadgets they cannot replace the power of being in his presence. The anointing is caught more than it is taught. Prophets often have very visible personality flaws. Prophets are flawed on purpose. Their flaws are usually great. The greater the prophetic mantle on a prophet, the greater the flaws in the prophet. Why? Humility. Humility is the key to gaining and walking in the prophetic mantle. True prophets are humble and flawed human beings. To gain the prophetic mantle, we must push past the prophet's flaws. Sometimes, this means getting into the mud with the prophet. When G-d sets a stage for you, don't draw back from it, move toward it. Take up the prophetic mantle, and carry it, use it to glorify G-d so that a clarion sound of the prophetic voice can be heard. The Prophet's mantle must be passed. Today's prophets need the anointed mantle of the prophet passed to them by yesterday's prophets so that they can begin bearing fruit and bringing forth the blessing of genuine prophecy to a new generation. Today's prophets can enter in to the greater blessings that genuine prophecy brings if they are willing to let yesterday's prophets teach us their revelation of realms of prophetic ministry. True prophetic ministry is defined by two important words: 1) humility, and 2) teach-ability. Genuine prophetic ministry begins with humility and is maintained by teach-ability. Keeping ourselves humble and teachable opens the door for the greater blessings of G-d through genuine prophetic ministry. If we want the blessing of genuine prophetic ministry, and the prophet's mantle, then we must walk in humility and teach-ability. All teachers must also be students, for life is a classroom of continuous learning. Guard your anointing for it is a precious gift from G-d.

Yom Kipper

Lev. 23:24-29 Tishri September Day of Atonement – Afflicting one’s soul “On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement” it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your soul…”. Lev. 23:27 Yom Kippur, means the Day of Atonement (at – one – ment) with G-d, and comes on the tenth day of Tishri (Oct.) It is the climax of ten days of repentance. What was begun on Rosh Hashanah is about to be sealed. ‘Prepare to meet your G-d, O Israel’. (Amos 4:12). G-d told Moses that this was how Israel was to approach Him once a year; ‘And this shall be a permanent statue for you; in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble your souls, and not do any work, whether the native, or the alien who sojourns among you; you shall be clean from all your sins before G-d. It is to be a Sabbath of solemn rest for you, that you may humble your soul; it is a permanent statute. The Law codes tell us that Atonement Day should have gladness in it. White vestments for the worshippers, to symbolize confidence in a renewal of purity through the mercy of G-d. But since the fall of Jerusalem any gaiety that was in Yom Kippur had faded. Now Atonement Day is a time of mordant grieving melodies, of bowed heads and wrung hearts and afflicting their souls. Afflicting one’s soul traditionally means five abstentions: form eating and drinking, from sex, from bathing, from anointing the body with oil (the Oriental hygienic practice), and from the wearing of leather shoes. Fasting is a Law of the Torah. Today almost every Jew who has any religious impulse abstains from eating and drinking for the twenty-four hours of Yom Kippur. The community spends the whole day in the Synagogue. All the prayers turn on the theme of repentance before judgment, of release from sin and error, as do the Rosh Hashana prayers; for the day of horn-blowing is part of the Judgment and Atonement drama. A shofar blast reverberates through the dark reaches of the universe. The angelic hosts, drawn up in array before the throne of G-d, shudder at the sound. It is Rosh Hashana, the Day of Judgment. The Scrolls of fate roll open before G-d. In these scrolls every man’s hand has written his deeds of the year past. G-d reads the entries and pronounces judgment, fixing the destinies of every human being for the year to come: who shall die, who shall live, who shall be rich, who shall be poor, and who shall rise in the world, who shall fall, who shall live in peace and who shall stumble in misery. This decree on the day of shofar-blowing is not final. People have ten days in which to search their acts, repent of misdeeds, perform good works to alter and balance as it stands, pledge themselves to better conduct, and throw themselves on the Judge’s mercy in prayer. Yom Kippur, the last of these days of grace, is a crisis of confession and repentance. As the sun sinks to the horizon, the scrolls of fate roll shut. The destinies of all people for the coming year are sealed. The annual judgment ends at sundown with a last blast of the shofar. In this one image all the rites and themes of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur merge. The blowing of the shofar, the ram’s horn, is an alarm waking the soul to Judgment. Canceling the past does not turn it into a record of achievement; it leaves it blank, a waste of spilled years. The repeated blasts, the weird alterations from long to short, from wailing to straight, shake one’s nerves. The air-raid siren describes the same sound patterns and does the same thing to the human heart. With the alarm comes the remembrance of things past and the confession of failure. But in a sweeping paradox, this same confession that seals the individual in his privacy with G-d draws him into an ancient communal bond. The mass confession stamps the idea at the heart of Yom Kippur. The Rabbi who is anointed and ordained to serve as priest in his father’s place shall make atonement; he shall thus put on the linen garments, the holy garments, and make atonement for the sons of Israel for all their sins once every year.’ (Lev. 16:29-34). It indicates that even the priests weren’t perfect; neither were the sacrifices. It was obvious that something was missing. The requirement had to be met year after year after year. It was never completed, never final. All that the animal sacrifices of the Old Covenant could provide was a ‘temporary covering.’ This ritual was meant to be a symbol, pointing to something greater that was to be fulfilled. ‘Abraham’s heirs according to promise!’ Galatians 3:29 says, ‘He (Y’Shua) is!’ therefore exactly the kind of High Priest we need: for He is holy and blameless, unstained by sin undefiled by sinners, and to Him has been given the place of honor in heaven. He never needs the daily blood of animal sacrifices, as other priest did, to cover over first their own sins and then the sins of the people; for He finished all sacrifices, once and for all, when He sacrificed Himself on the cross. (Heb. 7:26-28; 8:7-8). Those yearly sacrifices remind them of their disobedience and guilt instead of relieving their minds. For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats really to take away their sins. That is why Messiah said: ‘O G-d, the blood of bulls and goats cannot satisfy You, so You have made ready this body of Mine for Me to lay as a sacrifice upon Your altar. You were not satisfied with the animal sacrifices, slain and burnt before You as offerings for sin…’ After the Messiah said; ‘here I am. I have come to give My life.’ He cancels the first system in favor of a far better one. Under this new plan we have been forgiven and made clean by the Messiah’s dying for us once and for all. Now we may walk right into the very Holy of Holies where G-d is, because of the blood of Y’Shua. this is the fresh, new, life-giving presence of G-d … let us go right in, to the Father Himself, with true hearts fully trusting Him to receive us.. (Heb. 10:1-22). He has provided the perfect opportunity for us to be at one with Him. There will be a day of final judgment, and ‘if there is any person who will not humble himself on this same day, he shall be cut off.’ (Lev. 23:29). ‘And if anyone’s name will not be found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.’ (Rev. 20:15). According to Hebrew tradition, G-d is keeping good records. He offers to forgive us. The book is symbolically sealed on Yom Kippur, reminding us that one day it will be sealed forever. This is a single day in the year that has been set apart by G-d as special. It celebrates out at-oneness with Him. It was ordained it the Old Covenant. How much greater is our reason to remember it now? ‘Those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life shall come in.’ (Rev. 21:27). The next twenty-four hours have been designated for fasting and prayer. ‘And now about fasting. ‘When you fast, declining your food for a spiritual purpose, don’t do it publicly…but when you fast, put on festive clothing, so that no one will suspect you are hungry, except your Father, who knows every secret, and He will reward you.’ (Matt. 6:16-18). Fasting permits things of the Spirit to be accented in our lives. It leads us to pray and share what we have with others. Begin your fast with this thought: ‘But when the Messiah appeared as a High Priest of the good thing to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect Tabernacle, not made with hands, that is today, not of this generation: and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood. He entered the Hoy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.’ (Heb. 9:11-12). Traditionally, not a bit of food or sip of water is taken during the twenty-four hour period. The time of fasting ends as the sun goes down the following day. A light meal is eaten to break the fast and the day closes with words from the Psalms: ‘Let them give thanks to the L-rd for His loving kindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men! For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.’ (Ps. 107:8-9). It is customary that before Yom Kippur right relationships be re-established, personal problems be resolved and disputes settled with the people around you. Y’Shua taught this principle in the L-rd’s prayer. (Matt. 6:14-15). It is also the Hebrew custom for parents to bless their children on the day before Yom Kippur. You now have fife days to build your Sukkah, start by drawing up your plans or choosing a location. A Jewish history meat symbolizes the stern judgment of G-d, while the dough symbolizes the mercy that accompanies G-d’s justice. This is a traditional food served at Yom Kipper. It is still true that ‘mercy triumphs over judgment’. (James 2:13). The Hebrew believes the Messiah will come on Yom Kipper for G-d will have at long last ended His separation from Israel, His original wife.

Corrupt State

We are to learn from past mistakes that we do not repeat it – have we advanced? This chapter in Jeremiah 13 contains an entire prophecy the discourse of Jehoiakim, who came to the throne in the eighteenth year of his age. In these circumstances the prophet predicts the captivity; and, by a symbolical representation of a rotten girdle, shows the people their totally corrupt state; and by another of bottles filled with wine, shows the destruction and madness of their counsels, and the confusion that must ensue. 10] This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing. G-d said to be filled with wine, not using old worn out wine skins - Have we not every prospect that it will be so? Do we need a revelation to inform us of this? Has America left the ‘joy of the L-rd by embracing the ways of the world? As wine intoxicates, so G-d's wrath and judgments shall reduce the Hebrews to that state of helpless distraction that they shall rush on to their own ruin(Jeremiah 25:15, 49:12, Isaiah 51:17 Isaiah 51:21 - 2, 63:6). Could it be happening with us also? You pretend to take this literally, but it is a symbol. You, and your kings, and priests, and prophets, are represented by these bottles. The wine is G-d's wrath against you, which shall first be shown by confounding your deliberations, filling you with foolish plans of defense, causing you from your divided counsels to fall out among yourselves, so that like so many drunken men you shall reel about and jostle each other; defend yourselves without plan, and fight without order, till ye all fall an easy prey into the hands of your enemies. The ancient adage is here fulfilled - Those whom G-d determines to destroy, he first renders foolish, pride was the cause of their contumacy, as humility is the first step to obedience. Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory. Glorify G-d, by a humble confession of your sins, by submitting yourselves to G-d, humbling yourselves under His word, and under His mighty hand, before G-d brings upon you, His great and heavy judgments. If you will not hearken to the L-rd, there is no remedy: destruction must come. You will have nothing to say, but be wholly confounded when G-d shall visit thee with this sore judgment. Can a black, at his own pleasure, change the color of his skin? Can the leopard at will change the variety of his spots? These things are natural to them, and they cannot be altered; so sin, and especially your attachment to idolatry, is become a second nature; and we may as well expect the Ethiopian to change his skin, and the leopard his spots, as you to do good, who have been accustomed to do evil. It is a matter of the utmost difficulty to get a sinner, deeply rooted in vicious habits, brought to the knowledge of himself and G-d. But the expression does not imply that the thing is as impossible in a moral as it is in a natural sense: it only shows that it is extremely difficult, and not to be often expected; and a thousand matters of fact prove the truth of this. But still, what is impossible to man is possible to G-d.

Rosh Hashana

Lev. 23:24-29 Tishri (September and October) Feast of Tabernacles The Seventh month, the Holy Month starts the New Year 'The day of remembrance’ “Now in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall also have a holy convocation, you shall do no laborious work. It will be to you a day for blowing shofars.” Num. 29:1 Tishri is the seventh month, and because the seventh month is holy, the spiritual New Year begins with this month. In the Scriptures this day is called Yom Teruah, (A day of sounding the shofars). ‘Speak to the sons of Israel, saying the seventh month on the first of the month; you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.’ (Lev. 23:24). It is the beginning of ten days called the ‘High Holy Days’ or ‘Days of Awe’. Because of their meaning these days are also called ‘Days of Repentance, Days of Admitting, Days of Returning’. The observance concludes with Yom Kipper, the Day of Atonement. The name "Rosh Hashanah" is not used in the Bible to discuss this holiday. The Bible refers to the holiday as Yom Ha-Zikkaron (the day of remembrance) or Yom Teruah (the day of the sounding of the shofar). The holiday is instituted in Leviticus 23:24-25 The shofar is the Hebrew word for trumpet or horn, a ram's horn which is blown somewhat like a trumpet. This instruction in the Old Covenant to blow the ram’s horn became a significant day of remembrance (Gen. 22:13-14). The shofar was blown to signify important occasions. At the sounding the following words were spoken, ‘you, who are asleep, wake up! You, who are in a trance, arise! Search your doings and repent; remember your Creator….’ Romans 13:11 says, ‘Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and the Messiah will shine on you.’ (Eph. 5:14). The bending in the shofar represents a human heart in true repentance bowing before G-d and the blowing was a means of getting G-d’s attention, to be remembered and protected by Him. (Num. 10:9-10). One of the most important observances of this holiday is hearing the sounding of the shofar in the Synagogue. A total of 100 notes are sounded each day. There are four different types of shofar notes: 1. Tekiah, a 3 second sustained note; 2. Shevarim, three 1-second notes rising in tone, 3. Teruah, a series of short, staccato notes extending over a period of about 3 seconds; 4. Tekiah gedolah (literally, "big tekiah"), the final blast in a set, which lasts 10 seconds minimum. The Bible gives no specific reason for this practice. One that has been suggested is that the shofar's sound is a call to repentance. The shofar is not blown if the holiday falls on Shabbat. No work is permitted on Rosh Hashanah. Much of the day is spent in Synagogue, where the regular daily liturgy is somewhat expanded. In fact, there is a special prayer book called the machzor used for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur because of the extensive liturgical changes for these holidays. This was the first G-d’s religious practice (the first one: lighting Chanukah candles). The second popular observance during this holiday is eating apples dipped in honey, a symbol of our wish for a sweet new year. They also dip bread in honey (instead of the usual practice of sprinkling salt on it) at this time of year for the same reason. Another popular practice of the holiday is Tashlikh ("casting off"). Walking to flowing water, such as a creek or river, on the afternoon of the first day and empty their pockets into the river, symbolically casting off their sins. Small pieces of bread are commonly put in the pocket to cast off. This practice is not discussed in the Bible, but is a long-standing custom. On this holiday instead of the usual twisted loaves of bread, the challah, for this meal has a different shape. The loaf is rounding, symbolic of our desire for a full and round year. Three strands are braided together to give significance to this celebration. 1. It is a day to honor the kingship of G-d and His authority over creation. 2. It is a day of remembrance, a time to consider one’s place in the universe and one’s personal part in the unfolding of G-d’s plan for the world. It is a time when the past is recalled, memories are aroused, the future is envisioned, and personal inventories are taken. 3. The third thread refers to the revelation of G-d and the sounding of the shofar is a symbolic signal to G-d’s people that it is time for a spiritual awakening. Tashlikh is normally observed on the afternoon of the first day, before afternoon services. When the first day occurs on Shabbat, many Synagogues observe Tashlikh on Sunday afternoon, to avoid carrying (the bread) on Shabbat. Religious services for the holiday focus on the concept of G-d's sovereignty. The Hebrew calendar is very old; it is believed that the counting of years originated with creation. There are a number of ways to count the months. One system begins the counting in the spring. Each month opens with the appearance of a new moon. Every time there is a new moon, a new month begins. Hebrew festivals are calculated on this lunar calendar. In keeping with tradition it is fitting that the seventh month is holy, just as the seventh day is always been honored. Therefore, the calendar begins with the seventh month. Judaism has several different "new years," a concept which may seem strange at first, but think of it this way: the American "new year" starts in January, but the new "school year" starts in September, and many businesses have "fiscal years" that start at various times of the year. In Judaism, Nissan 1 is the new year for the purpose of counting the reign of kings and months on the calendar, Elul 1 (in August) is the new year for the tithing of animals, Shevat 15 (in February) is the new year for trees (determining when first fruits can be eaten, etc.), and Tishri 1 (Rosh Hashanah) is the new year for years (when we increase the year number. Sabbatical and Jubilee years begin at this time). Rosh Hashanah will occur on the following days of the Gregorian calendar: • Jewish Year 5768: sunset September 12, 2007 - nightfall September 14, 2007 • Jewish Year 5769: sunset September 29, 2008 - nightfall October 1, 2008 • Jewish Year 5770: sunset September 18, 2009 - nightfall September 20, 2009 • Jewish Year 5771: sunset September 8, 2010 - nightfall September 10, 2010 • Jewish Year 5772: sunset September 28, 2011 - nightfall September 30, 2011 • Jewish Year 5773: sunset September 17, 2012 – nightfall September 19, 2012 • Jewish Year 5774: sunset September 20, 2013 – nightfall September 22, 2013 • Jewish Year 5775: sunset September 24, 2014 – nightfall September 25, 2014 The Hebrew word Rosh means ‘head or beginning.’ Hashanah means ‘the year.’ The more common biblical name is the ‘Feast of Trumpets.’ It is a time set apart for a new beginning with G-d. The account of Isaac in Genesis 22 is remarkably similar to the sacrifice of Y’Shua: he was his father’s only son; he was freely offered by his father; the wood for the sacrifice was carried on his shoulders, and the place of the sacrifice was on the hill in the land of Mariah which became Jerusalem. ‘Then Solomon began to build the house of G-d in Jerusalem on Mt. Mariah.’ (2 Chr. 3:1). In Gen. 22:1-14 G-d’s provision of a ram to be sacrificed in Isaac’s place, a living picture of what was to come in His greater gift of Y’Shua. Remember this is a time of reflection and preparation. The major emphasis in your family should be: to remember your Creator, go to Him for forgiveness, and He will have mercy. Telling of the story of the High Holy days. (Rev. 6:4-9). The entire story of the exodus – the story of Passover, our first festival – illustrates the salvation of the believers. First there was the blood of the Lamb - which delivered you from death, Then the trip through the Red Sea -baptism, Then the wandering of the wilderness – this life on earth, Finally Jericho – heaven, when the shofar sounds.

Prophetic Tour For America

Jer. 11 [1] The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, [This discourse is supposed to have been delivered in the first year of the reign of Zedekiah.] [2] Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem; [This covenant - alluding to the book of the Law (Deuteronomy 31:26) found in the temple by Hilkiah the high priest, five years after Jeremiah's call to the prophetic office (2 Kings 22:8-23:25'). The Law was delivered by Moses, to which the people more than once promised obedience. Hear ye - Others besides Jeremiah were to spread G-d's will to the people; it was the duty of the priests to read the Law to them (Malachi 2:7).] [3] And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, [After the reading, the prophet appears to sum up the things contained in what was read to them; as if he had said, “Ye hear what the L-rd said unto you: remember, the sum of it is this: The man is cursed who obey not; and he is blessed who obeys. From these declarations G-d will not depart.”] [4] Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God: [In the day - that is, when. The Sinaitic covenant was made some time after the exodus, but the two events are so connected as to be viewed as one. Iron furnace - (Deuteronomy 4:20 , 1 Kings 8:51 ). "Furnace" expresses the searching ordeal; "iron," the long duration of it. The furnace was of earth, not of iron (Psalms 12:6 ); a furnace, in heat and duration enough to melt even iron. G-d's deliverance of them from such an ordeal aggravates their present guilt. Do them - namely, the words of the covenant (Jeremiah 11:3). So - (Leviticus 26:3 Leviticus 26:12 ).] [5] That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD. [Oath - (Psalms 105:9-10.) So be it, O L-rd – Hebrew, Amen, taken from Deuteronomy 27:15-26. Jeremiah hereby solemnly concurs in the justice of the curses pronounced there. ] [6] Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them. [Proclaim all these words - Jeremiah was to take a prophetic tour throughout Judah, to proclaim everywhere the condemnation in the book of the Law found in the Temple. Let the same covenant, with the blessings and cursings, be read in every city of Judah, and in all the streets of Jerusalem, that all the people may know their duty, their privileges, and their danger. Hear . . . do - (Romans 2:13 , 1:22).] [7] For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice. [Even unto this day - I brought upon them.] [8] Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not. [Imagination - rather, "stubbornness." Words - threats (Jeremiah 11:3 Deuteronomy 27:15-26). Did them not - For this G-d threatens to bring upon them all His words of threatening, annexed to the covenant of the Law.] [9] And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. [A conspiracy is found - All sorts of people have done alike, as if they had conspired together, determined to cast off the Divine yoke, and no longer to have G-d to reign over them, a deliberate combination against G-d and against Josiah's reformation. Their idolatry is not the result of a hasty impulse (Psalms 83:5, Ezekiel 22:25).] [10] They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. [They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers - A great reformation had taken place under the reign of Josiah, and the public worship of idols had been abolished, and most of the high places destroyed; but under the reign of his son and his successors, they had turned back again to idolatry, and were become worse than ever. It required a captivity to cure them of this propensity: and G-d sent one: after that, there was no idolatry among the Jews.] [11] Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. [I will not hearken – G-d will not hear them crying to Him in their adversity, who refuse to hear Him speaking to them in their prosperity. Cry unto me - contrasted with "cry unto the gods," (Jeremiah 11:12). Not hearken - (Psalms 18:41, Proverbs 1:28, Isaiah 1:15, Micah 3:4.)] [12] Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. [Cry unto the gods . . . not save - (Deuteronomy 32:37 Deuteronomy 32:38 ). Compare this verse and beginning of Jeremiah 11:13, Jeremiah 2:28. In the time of their trouble - that is, calamity (Jeremiah 2:27).] Have we not promise our obedience ‘in G-d we trust?’ If G-d can cut off His people from disobedience - why do you think He would He not do the same to us? People tend to shrink at the word law, but G-d’s Laws are His instructions on how to live. Why isn’t the Laws preached anymore? We are not under the letter of the Law but the Law still exists, it was not put there to condemn us but to teach us how to live G-dly lives, that all the people may know their duty, their privileges, and their danger, there are 613 Oral Laws swash down to 7 Noachide Law to 10 Written Laws. All are cursed who obey not; and all is blessed who obeys! From these declarations G-d will not depart regardless of nationality, male or female. We have gone far astray, what is wrong we call good, are government is passing laws that should not have been put in place. We all will pay the price for disobedience. We have cast off our Divine yoke and turn to idolatry in our hasty desires. We need to turn back to the iniquities of our forefathers – In G-d we trust. G-d will not hear America crying to Him in their adversity, who refuse to hear Him speaking to them in their prosperity. The time of our trouble will soon be upon us, it’s not too late for each individual to make a change, were He leads. Open up your hearts and ears to what He is saying to you.

Strategic Season

A new year and a new season settling in, time is disappearing as the days are rapidly bringing new changes. Holiness and righteousness is once again being preached in some churches. They are correcting their mistakes and bringing back the Written Word, well in the mean time the world is falling apart not knowing which direction to go, running to and fro. Grace has been preached so long it became a blanket of ‘free will’ to do as you please; you’re not under the letter of G-d’s Law. People have not been told or forgotten G-d is not only a loving, forgiving Father but also a righteous judge and what is done in secret will be brought to the light. Signs of the days of harvest are more prominent now then ever before, angels with sickles are coming down to separate the wheat from the tare. No more playing church, it was never meant to be a social club, a religious spirit has crawled in (holier than thou). Originally churches have started with ‘no walls’, we have made them monuments, put on a pedestal. G-d is not into denominations, just take what you have learned that is truth and spread the Word. Nation by nation are preparing to go against Israel, beware which side you back up for it has been written that Israel is still G-d’s chosen people. Tune in your ear to hear the sounds of heaven’s cry. Watchers speak the Word with all confidence; cry out for wisdom for our nation and leaders. Many will turn aside to seek other ways but G-d’s people must follow Him, even if the path is rocky and steep. Our lives here are all about relationships, especially with the Father, pressing in, being tried and going the distance. G-d is offering each of us a fresh start, a clean slate. It is true weeping comes in the night but overwhelming joy comes in the morning.

Chatting with the Maker

Did you ever get up early in the morning to just sit outside to listen to your Masters voice? Long before everyone is up and starting their busy day, one can hear the sounds of nature, the cooing of the birds and the calling of the loons. Mama duck and her babies are out for a swim in the sparkling water. Listen hard and you can hear the tree frogs, as the fireflies are fading away. There is stillness in the water where the lily pads are gently floating on the surface. Occasionally a large fish leaps out of the lagoon only to disappear again. A gently wind blows the leaves on the trees and the fragrance of the blossoms float to your nostrils. Peace and serenity settles into one’s soul and once again you can regain your inner most thoughts for the presence of G-d surrounds you, as whispering clouds float gently overhead. This is the time you are out of the rat race of performance. Always doing for others and seemly getting very little back. The illusions of the adversary fade away along with his deceptions. “What is my purpose Father? Do I have a calling that has not yet been filled? I wish to serve You with all my heart, soul and mind, let the flesh stay asunder and not rise up its ugly head. Time has past and the mirror says I am getting old. The body hurts, please don’t let that hinder me from doing Your work. I do believe elderly people don’t have to be sickly; it is a lie from the pit. Until our appointed time of going home we should be vibrant in mind, body and spirit to accomplish Your will. If one thinks they have accomplished it all – they haven’t even touched the surface yet. Your judgment and chastising is coming for many have gone astray. I stand in repentance for my nation, for Your people, and for myself. If it is a spanking we need – give it that we can turn away from our wicked ways and glorify You. It is not our pleasure we should be seeking but Yours! You made us all with free will and I personally return my free will back to you – help me to do Your will for it is right and just with truth and holiness. Pour into me Your love, mercy and grace. Let me stand strong and fight well that You will not be ashamed of me. I wish to go deeper and deeper still into all You have in store for Me. I will never be satisfied, for I want all You have to give. Let me NEVER take Your glory! I believe Your Word is true and You are the same through out all history. What one did for You way back then can still be done today and tomorrow. Prefect me to be Your hands, feet, mouth piece – using everything You have bestowed to me to accomplish Your purpose in setting people free. Allow me to grow in more knowledge of Your dark sayings, signs and wonders, transfiguration and to teach the little ones to follow Your path and love Your Word. It is not about me. I stand as an imperfect vessel willing to be used as You see fit. Take away all doubt and confusion in my self esteem, for truly I am not worthy. Let people see You and not me. My focus is to be always on the Trinity, My Father, My King of kings and My Spirit Teacher.” A good morning chat brought on peace that passes all understanding and quieted my spirit.

Enemy’s Attack:

Who and what the enemy is aren’t always obvious. A direct assault, while often brutal, isn’t the most efficient or most thorough way to destroy the adversary. A subtle attack can often be far more effective than a direct assault since an attack of subterfuge and nuance is often not noticed till the victim has crawled into the middle of the spider’s web. Be aware of the enemy’s schemes; do not let your full concentration be on him. He is not the goal. He is not your focus. Do not give him more power than he has. Y’Shua is setting captives free, and those captives are stepping out of their chains. Fight from the inside out, find the cause of the problem. While you’re fighting the enemy attacking your home out front, there’s another contingent setting charges in your crawl space and you don’t realize it till it’s too later. Please do not lay weigh a Believer down with rules and regulations that are not their own…that is the greatest enemy of Christianity (Religion). It’s what Y’Shua hated the most. What He fought against with the Pharisees. And His onslaught against religion is what got Him killed. The spirit of religion is an enemy who is crushing churches, dividing fellowships and friends, turning G-d from a person into a manifesto of dos and don’ts that crush the spirit and turn Christianity into a program devoid of true godly power and devoid of love. Become a student again, for it is difficult to teach if you are not open to learning those things you do not even know yet. Do not let the enemy allow the spirit of religion to embed its claws into your life and soul. The Messiah has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand and never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you. In Him neither our most conscientious religion nor disregard of religion amounts to anything. What matters I something far more interior: faith expressed in love. Love others as you love yourself. That’s an act of true freedom. If you bite and ravage each other, watch out – in no time at all you will be annihilating each other, and where will your precious freedom be then. Warriors are plural, not singular, seek the answers together. The weapons of your warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. Isaiah 42:13 The LORD will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes; He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies. Many warriors get weary, you must ask G-d to be your back guard, surrounding you and to fill you with life an wisdom and unending strength to carry on the good fight. James L. Rubart

Faith

By faith we understand the universe was formed at G-d’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. By faith Able brought G-d a better offering than Cain did. By faith Enoch was taken from this life. so that he did not experience death. By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith Abraham, when G-d tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt. By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born. By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land. By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days. By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient. By faith believe in who you are, on your own you can do nothing, with G-d all things can be done. James L. Rubart

Just Sailing Along

Life is like a sailboat that could toss one in every direction unless you take a good grip and stand firm at the sail. Are you sailing alone or have you chosen a partner that has the same determination to get to the same place you are going? Life is a matter of chooses, which way to go? What path to choose from to get there? Do you really want to be tossing to and fro with indecisions? What is your destination that you are headed for must be the first determination or you could place yourselves in a bad predicament. Strong winds try to push you off course to destruction. Soft winds can gently carry you along to safety. No wind and you become stationary. How we conduct our lives determines our destination.. Which directions are you sailing? Who is the caption of your ship?

Breakthrough

Paul Cox and Larry Pearson, received a message from what they said was the angel of Wisconsin. There are no accidents in the Kingdom, only Divine appointments. It’s the message of the Kingdom, the Kingdom that is at hand. There’s been an assembling of a governmental realm for the proceeding shift over the state. There are balls and missiles of glory even tonight will hit this place and AWAKEN the body to their true identity. For now there has been a decree from Heaven against those that have been stealing the identities of the sons of the Kingdom. A line of demarcation is in the sand in this state. There will be no more spiritual theft of your identity. There will be a rising up of giant slayers in the house, slayers that attack the father of lies. The adversary that accuses you is coming down! This night, if you can believe again once more, as you come through the gate, the waters will again bring forth a grace to dream again. You are still here because you are an overcomer. You haven’t finished, because you’re still here, so therefore, the resistance that is against you is there to train you to come into the greater weight of glory. For I AM not training up weaklings, but I AM training up sons and daughters of the realm that is not in church as usual. But it’s a realm of authority that only the sons and daughters can enter into because it’s not going to be given to hirelings. We are beginning to shift.. It is a new day. If it’s a new day, it’s a new way, If it’s a new way, it’s not the old way. It might feel complicated, but it’s in the simplicity of believing the One that is in you, for you are anointed and appointed to hear the tuning fork of the governmental realm where you will find the sound that will come to the ground and bring healing and restoration and unlock promises of old. There’s an air that fells to me like old time revival. I know nothing about this region, but it feels like there’s been moves of God that have been snuffed out by the religious spirit. I say, that day is dying and now is time for sons and daughters who see and know their God to do exploits. So I say, there’s a governmental invitation to leave the old way, to leave the old day, to leave behind the old garments, to leave behind your old chains, even if they feel like friends, even if they’ve been a comfort to you, I say Papa, Abba will be your comfort. The gate of breakthrough will bring a new vibration in worship. It will retune you to the frequency of nothing of the carnality that has been dogging. Many will be given keys tonight and understanding will unfold in dreams and visions . And I say, there is an invitation to come up here. There is an invitation to the prophetic trainers and the prophetic movement here for an upgrade has come. The bubbling, the bubbling, the bubbling of the prophetic Spirit of the Lord will break the back of the religious resistance because resistance will be futile and the ones that will not come into, not another movement, but into Him and His heart, they will beat with a fire that will produce the fear of the Lord. Now is the night to dare to believe again that the awakening of a dread champion anointing shall come upon you. And you’ll be champions, not of a movement of God but you’ll be champions of the family of God. You’ll be champions who’ll display the fame and fortune of the King of kings and Lord of lords. There’s a nobility in this place. There’s a noble nature in you. And it’s the glory of a king to search it out. So I say, search it out you nobles, for you are a lot bigger on the inside. I declare that a warrior anointing will be a holy anointing to displace foundations . I say the great exchange has come from Heaven. I bless the power of prophetic and apostolic foundations to displace the ministry of man. The great exchange has come and the missiles of fire shall descend upon this house and upon this ministry there will be a new breaker anointing to release the governmental angels called the ecclesia that will rule and reign in love and mercy that will triumph over judgment. The confusion of Babylon is done. Your ecclesia function is trickling forth out of your belly. The rivers of being the ecclesia, the governmental agents of love. Prophets of love will come out of Wisconsin. Prophets of love will shake the nation from Wisconsin and even in the government in the natural it shall shake Washington, because prophets of mercy, prophets of mercy, prophets shall descend and release a future word to establish the power of the age to come. This will not be about titles an entitlements; this will be about family. This will be about relationship. This will be a heart to heart to heart to heart. This will be about the burning hearts of love that totally outshine the hireling spirit that is now being displaced. For the power of the Kingdom is at hand.

One Accord

Romans 15: 4. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 5. Now the G-d of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Y’Shua HaMashiach: 6. That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify G-d, even the Father of our L-rd Y’Shua HaMashiach. 7. Wherefore accept ye one another, as Messiah also received us to the glory of
G-d. We must learn to accept our fellow Believers as G-d has accepted us into His family with all our infirmities, encouraging and keep our minds directed toward the will of G-d. We are of His Family, bound by the harmony that comes from our faith. G-d will get the glory when we speak with one voice, one heart, and one purpose. Agreement is not based on common personal feelings, but on a cause greater than self. We can be accepting, and welcome each other even if we at times do not fully agree in our own thinking, it is for the common good that glorifies the Father. Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worked patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 6. And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of G-d is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Our identity is neither in our mates, our children, nor in others options but in the very eyes of our Heavenly Father. Let us walk in PEACE

Healing

In the Scripture: Ps. 6:8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping. (Iniquity – cancer, arthritis, all diseases) Gen. 20; 17 open up the wombs God healed the lepers, blind, lame, deaf, all afflictions. Mal. 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; Matt. 4: 23, Matt. 9:35 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. Act 2:22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed. Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 2 Cor. 10:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Ps. 6:2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. Isa. 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isa. 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isa. 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Isa. 57:18-19 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners. I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. There is no time or distance with the Spirit. 1 Pet. 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Pet. 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Rose-Colred Glasses

There are many ripples in life that can block your view of calming paths that can be taken. One needs to stop seeing in the natural and put on rose-colored glasses to see through My eyes. Not all things appear as they are for the enemy has distorted your vision. You need to look past the negative to the positive of what I am trying to accomplish in someone else’s walk. As long as My people focus on all the junk around them, there can be no advancement for the Kingdom. Time for a new destiny, keep your eyes focus on Me and move forward in the positive. Behind every cloud there is a silver lining! I want to give you peace, joy and love of man-kind to enlighten them, to draw them closer to Me. Hard days may be ahead but wearing My rose-colored glasses will guide you through all the ripples of life. Keep your focus on Me, I am focused on you. Abba

The Mystery Of The Keys

By John Paul Jackson The mature Believers are the ‘army’ in the Kingdom of G-d that goes after the demonic powers that would come against G-d Kingdom, 1 Jn. 3:8 His Kingdom is righteousness, joy, filled with the Holy Ghost. Rom. 14:17. Our mind sets have got to change we got to come to a place where we lesson to the Lord and hear Him in every single thing we do and every single move that we make. The only thing that stops the Kingdom from advancing is you and me. Let not your heart be troubled – keep the Kingdom within you! The Kingdom will flourish no matter what happens on this earth, God is in control. The keys are principles of God that should be integrated into our lives. The keys of the Kingdom were given to you (anyone who believed in who Jesus was). The keys will destroys the work of the evil one, (1 Jn. 3:8). There are two types of keys that will work do this, and both work through righteousness. The first key is power and the second key is authority. Power is to subdue, concur, and regenerate. Authority is dominion, governance, it is to build up, stop, or remove something, as well as putting authority in place to have oversight. (Luke 9 and Matt. 10). Demon’s and disease are satin’s way of trying to destroy everything that God created. Ten keys to the kingdom of heaven (1 Cor. 12) are meant to destroy evil. 1. Word of knowledge 2. Word of wisdom 3. Prophecy 4. Discerning the spirits 5. Gifts of healing 6. Gifts of miracles 7. Gift of faith 8. Gift of tongues 9. Gift of interpretation of God 10. Blood of Jesus Keys Before Jesus was resurrected, the justice was harsh After the cross, Jesus took judgement upon Himself If you don’t make a claim, He won’t render a decision Some don’t believe they deserve justice We are required to ask for it. What makes up the foundation of God’s throne? Truth and love justice and righteousness Peace and humility Make sure you’re innocent by asking for forgiveness; forgive those whose wronged you Catch the thief Recognize what happened to you was not from God Your losses can be restored to you seven times over The enemy has to have intruded on you illegally He attacks two ways Intrusion Invitation (you opened a door) Catch the thief Pride Greed Lust Guilt Fear

Broaden Your Horizon

Time to think out of the box, for I am the G-d that will make all things possible. It is a new day and a new season. I want to enlighten your heart so you may fulfill your destiny. Do not be afraid to let go of the past for I have much for you to do in the present and the days to come. It is time to start gathering in the harvest and I need everyone to play their part in sharing their love and knowledge of Me. Prepare your self for growth to become a greater blessing to others for My glory. My warrior’s does not worry about what others think or allow others to put you back into a box, for the time is at hand to shine and advance My Kingdom. It is time to share your love towards one another and except them for who they are or what they look like. The new flock may have a different look then what was once accepted, I can use them and they can reach out to the new generation. Stand your ground even if you have to stand alone for I am making you a leader not a follower for you hearken onto My voice. Pray for great discernment that you may recognize the false prophets from the true prophets. To do that one has to know the truth of My Word and spend the intimate time with Me. I am broadening your horizon for the task at hand. Those that are faithful in small things will be able to do greater things. Finish the race keeping your eyes on Me, I will not let you fall to the right nor the left for I run along beside you to the very end! The time is coming that My people will be worshiping Me as their King of kings. Watch the signs and seasons for the time growth nigh. Lesson for the sound of the trumpet, prepare for the battle, but know that I will have the victory over all things in the end. Gather My Harvest!

G-d is not dead

G-d’s Not Dead Lk.20:7 notes from Perry Stone 1 Cor. 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Dealing with the resurrection of the dead in the Messiah. Isa. 26:14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish. Dealing with the nations that attacked Israel at one time are not going to come back in the resurrection. Isa. 28:10 One must study the Word of G-d, line upon line, precept upon precept. The atmosphere containing oxygen we breathe is 60 miles from the ground to the sky – 1 mile is 5,280 feet. 60 miles is 316,800 feet (drop zeros) 3168 Acts 17:25 ..He gives to all life, breath, and all things. The human body there is 6000 miles of blood vessels, when you translate blood vessels into feet you have 316800 blood vessels. Dropping the zeros = 3168 Your brain has a weight that is 3.168 pounds. How can one say G-d is dead or believe in evaluation, how can this all be a co instants? The Bible shows everything was planned out – what a wonderful G-d we serve!

Let It Go

DUE TO PUBLIC DEMAND: (T.D. Jakes?) There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk. I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left. The Bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19] People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay. Let them go. And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead. You've got to know when it's dead. You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've got the gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever G-d means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay. Let them go!! If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life, then you need to . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you are holding on to past hurts and pains . . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your worth . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If someone has angered you . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents . . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you have a bad attitude . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If you're feeling depressed and stressed . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself and God is saying "take your hands off of it," then you need to . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! Let the past be the past Forget the former things. GOD is doing a new thing for 2014!!! LET IT GO!!! Get Right or Get Left. think about it, and then . . . . . . . . LET IT GO!!! "The Battle is the Lord's!"

A New Season

We are at the beginning of a new season, are you ready to step into it? Have you washed your garments and cleansed your heart? It is time for a fresh start, brush off the old and embrace the new horizon awaiting you. It will be a new beginning to some of My people, and a continues walk for others. I need many soldiers to war off the voice of the adversary so that My harvesters will reap an abundant crop. Have you tuned in to My voice? Who will feed My sheep and love My lambs? The time is drawing nigh follow the calling I have placed in you. If you are a teacher – teach If you are a servant – serve If you are a prophet – speak out If you are an evangelism – encourage If you are a sheppard – guide your flock. Share your gifts with one another for you will reproduce who you are. We are all one body, no part is higher than the other. But all parts of the body are needed to serve in My Kingdom. Time to walk in righteousness Time to be a warrior, continuing to fight the good fight, pick your battles wisely. Time to put on holiness. All My people need to spent intimate time with Me that you may become a peace-maker. Allow My will to become your will. My heart be your heart My steps be your steps Let your soul thirst for Me for I thirst for you. Obedience is better than sacrifices, but if you sacrifice do it joyfully. Cast all your cares upon Me for I care for you and can carry your burdens. Will you not love Me whole heartedly? Have you learn to love others? This is the question I will ask of all My people for you need to love to work in My Kingdom. A new season, a new start for the time is growing nigh, even at the door.

Seven Asia Minor Churchs

Ephesus It had patience and good works, and had tested the false teachers and had remained faithful to the truth, but their fruits, their works show that they are not. The professing Christian of today will not take rebuke or correction, saying: "stop judging me". This church also hates the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which Y’Shua also hates. Did you know that the Nicolaitanes were a gnostic sect that believed they didn't need to keep G-d's Law? They believed in Y’Shua, but thought they could carry on in a worldly sinful life. Sadly, this is also the state of much of the professing Christian world today, in which it believes that G-d's Law has been done away with. Y’Shua had to die because of disobedience to G-d's Law, why would it now be done away with?! Let me give you just one verse which describes the true end time church of G-d, Rev. 14:12. Y’Shua has one rebuke for this church in Ephesus, and that is they have left their first love. Have you lost that first spark you felt for Y’Shua? This is a serious matter, because Y’Shua says that He would take the candlestick away from them. This means that they would no longer be His church if they didn't repent of this evil, and return to those good works of believing and giving their all for Him. Smyrna was the second church age. We know this because Y’Shua said that this church would suffer persecution 10 days. These are 10 prophetic days and are actual years (10 years), which matches the 10 year persecution of the true church at the hands of Diocletian between AD303 - AD313. Constantine put an end to the persecution in AD313. This is a good church as they receive no rebuke, only commendation. This church in Smyrna did good works out of love for Y’Shua and suffers tribulation because they follow Y’Shua wherever He goes. They are also a poor church, but are spiritually rich! Did you notice that? Y’Shua commends them for being poor! Now that sends a sword right through the false gospel that is sweeping America today, which is the 'prosperity gospel'. The prosperity gospel teaches that being poor is a sign that you haven't got Y’Shua, whereas Y’Shua says that this POOR church in Smyrna is His church and they are spiritually rich!! Y’Shua isn't concerned with us being materially rich, but spiritually rich. What can we learn from this church? Be faithful in all tribulation, EVEN UNTO DEATH! We are in the very lasts days, and we very well may need to give our lives for Y’Shua. Pergamos is the church "falling away" that Paul described in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. This church age is from the time of Constantine in AD313 to the time of the Rise of the Papal Church of Rome in AD538, when that "man of sin" was revealed. This was a period of deteriorating moral standards and doctrinal corruption. Christian standards were lowered, and a union was formed between Christianity and paganism through the acts of Constantine and the Roman Catholic Church. We can see here that COMPROMISE has come into the church. In exchange for religious tolerance and acceptance, the true principles of Christianity were sacrificed to accommodate pagan beliefs. This church is allowing those who hold to different doctrines that are not of Messiah to dwell with them and commune with them. Again the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes pops up, which is the doctrine of doing away with G-d's Law. This Y’Shua hates! G-d's written and spoken Commandments is a Law of love that will never be done away with. Look at what the Psalmist would have said to this church: Ps. 1:1-2. Do we see compromise throughout the "Christian" churches today? I believe we do. You only need to look at the church councils in certain denominations that have meetings to discuss whether or not to allow practicing homosexual men and women as clergy. I mean, come on! Talk about ignoring G-d's Word!! We are to love the sinner but not except the sin. This compromise will get worse before Y’Shua returns. We really need to hold on to a NO COMPROMISE Christian attitude as we near the end. Despite the compromise that came into the church in Pergamos, there were still a few (G-d's remnant) that held on to the truth of His Word and sought to maintain the true faith of the apostles. Thyatira was a time of spiritual darkness, the true gospel was abandoned and Christianity was replaced by the old pagan form of sun worship, dressed in a garb of Christianity. This apostate church is leading G-d's people into fornication accepting there false doctrines, and instead of Thyatira rejecting what this (apostate church) is teaching, they are allowing it. Sardis represents the church age at the end of the protestant reformation in the 1500's, up to the time of the great awakening in the 18th century. A great work had been started in the reformation to separate from the error of Rome and to live according to G-d's true Word. But instead of carrying on this great work, the reformers submitted to the protection of civil authorities and became subject to the state. And we are now seeing the result of this failure of the reformers to move forward in truth, with many of the original protestant churches re-uniting with the Roman Catholic Church. Y’Shua confirmed in this letter that the works of this church weren't perfect, which points to the reformers not FULLY separating from the errors of the Papal Church. There are so many professing Christians who do not study Bible prophecy, and yet Y’Shua warns us that if we do not watch, then He will return (at the second coming) like a thief. And He is coming as a thief to those who are lost. How will you know when and how Y’Shua will return if you don't study Bible prophecy? We are living in the end times and we need to grasp the importance of end time Bible prophecy, so that we will not be deceived. Satan is pulling out all the stops to deceive us before Y’Shua returns, so we need to be rooted in G-d's Word, studying like we've never studied before, to find out the truth. We need to be watching and eagerly waiting for our L-rd and Savior. Philadelphia this is the church during the great awakening of the 18th Century and the Advent movement started by the Millerites. The great disappointment in 1844 lead to the discovery of the truth about the 2300 day prophecy of Daniel, and Y’Shua moving into the Most Holy Place ("I have set before thee an open door") in the Heavenly sanctuary that contains the Law of G-d (written and spoken} Commandments) and the start of the investigative judgment for those who have professed the Christian faith. The "Jews" in these verses are not literal Jews, but spiritual Jews, those who profess to be in Y’Shua HaMashiach professing Believers. This is one of two churches of the seven that don't receive a rebuke. This is a good church that holds fast to the true doctrine of Y’Shua HaMashiach. They do not let themselves be led astray, because they firmly hold on to the truth of G-d's Word. This is something that is really lacking in the "Christian" world today, because too many people would rather go along with their 'feelings' rather than the truth of G-d's Word in the Bible. We MUST hold tight onto the truth. We must stand on the rock, and not be thrown about by every different wind of doctrine that comes our way. Laodicea means "judging the people". Which is exactly what the advent movement of the Philadelphian church in 1844 revealed to the world, when proclaiming the three angels message that "the hour of His (G-d's) judgment is come" (Rev. 14:6-7). This is the last church age and it is the age that we live in right now. G-d is judging those who profess to be Believers. Are you ready? This is the only church that has no commendation, it perfectly describe the state of the professing Believers world today. The professing church is in a state of being lukewarm. The majority of the Christian world is holding on to Y’Shua with one hand and holding on to the world with the other. Why are we not prepared to completely let go of this world, and the things of it? It is going to be destroyed soon when Y’Shua returns, so stop trying to hang on to it. We can live and reign with Y’Shua forever in glory if we would just let those things go that are holding us back. If you stay in this lukewarm state then Y’Shua is going to spew you out of His mouth and throw you into the lake of fire. Y’Shua is trying to wake you up out of your sleep. He is standing at the door knocking. Answer the call from the L-rd, as time is short, give your all for Him now, and find out how to worship G-d in spirit and truth. We cannot receive forgiveness without repenting. To Philadelphia He says "Behold I come quickly." Then to Laodicea He says "Behold I stand at the door." During the spiritual age of the Philidelphia church, His second coming was approaching, but now during the spiritual age of the Laodicean church, which is the age we live in, Y’Shua says that He is AT THE DOOR. In Matthew 24 Y’Shua is describing the signs of His return, and in verse 33 He says ... 'So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.' ... When we see the signs happening, know that His second coming is AT THE DOORS!! Friend, Y’Shua is certainly at the door, and His second coming is very close indeed. The loud cry is going out to the world to wake up those who are spiritually sleeping. It's time to wake up friend, and get ready for your redeemer. What about the rewards? Those who overcome will: 1. Eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of paradise. 2. Not be hurt by the second death. 3. Receive a new name written on a white stone. 4. Receive the morning star. 5. Be clothed in white garments and walk with Y'Shua. 6. Be made a pillar in the Temple of G-d, and receive the name of G-d. 7. Sit with Y'Shua on His throne.

The Shemittah Year

The Sabbath year (shmita Hebrew: literally "release") also called the sabbatical year or sheviit (Hebrew: literally "seventh") is the seventh year of the seven-year agricultural cycle and it's every seven years after that. As soon as the Jews settled in the Holy Land, they began to count and observe seven-year cycles. Every cycle would culminate in a Sabbatical year, known as "Shemitah," literally: to release. The year following the destruction of the second Holy Temple was the first year of the seven-year Sabbatical cycle. In the Jewish calendar, counting from Creation, this was year 3829, 68-69 CE in the secular calendar. By counting sevens from then, we see that the next shemitah year will be the year 5775 after Creation, which runs from Sept. 25, 2014 through Sept. 13, 2015. Those who put their trust in G d were richly rewarded: G-d, will command My blessing for you in the sixth year, and it will yield produce for three years. And you will sow in the eighth year, while still eating from the old crops. Until the ninth year, until the arrival of its crop, you will eat the old crop! -- Leviticus 25:21-22. As well as giving the people an opportunity to put their faith in G-d and see it fulfilled, the yearlong abstention from farming also allowed them to collectively take a breather and focus on higher, more spiritual pursuits -- as the people packed the synagogues and study halls. Even today, when the vast majority of Jews are not involved in the farming industry, the lessons of Shemitah are very germane. During this holy year we are expected to concentrate more on our spiritual mission in life, and a little less on our material pursuits. More on why we are needed, less on what we need. More on faith in G d, less on faith in our own talents and wiles The first cycle started after the fourteen years of conquering and dividing the land -- the fifteenth year after they crossed the Jordan River (1258 BCE). While the Torah ordinarily counts months starting from Nissan (in the spring), the years of this cycle -- and the Shemitah, too -- begin with Rosh Hashanah, at the start of the autumn month of Tishrei. When all the twelve tribes lived in Israel, in their ancestral estates, the year following seven complete Shemitah cycles – the fiftieth year – was observed as Yovel, the Jubilee year. During Yovel, too, the land was not worked, as during Shemitah. In addition, during the Yovel year all slaves were freed and all fields and houses sold during the past fifty years were returned to their original owners. Unlike Shemitah, however, the Yovel year is no longer observed. the next Jubilee year the Hebrews say they are eagerly await the day when G d will bring their entire nation back to our homeland—including the ten “lost” tribes—and they will again resume observing the Jubilee year, as well as so many other mitzvot which they are incapable of performing until that awaited day.

9/11

Isaiah 9 [10] The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores’ are cut down, but we will change them into cedars. I’m off on a rabbit trail – Here is the outline of The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn; on how history repeats itself: He talks about 9 Harbinger (forerunners): 1. The Breach – the enemy let in causes the removal of G-d’s hedge). Removed in 732 B.C. Politics to the economy to foreign affairs and idols, a nation outside the will of G-d, any notion of national security or invincibility is an illusion. Wake up call! Foreign policy forming strategic alliances. The attack was a warning of a harbinger of judgment. America was instruments to give refuge to the world’s poor and needy, and hope to its appraised. Stand against tyranny, against the dark movements of the modern world. September 11 a judgment from ruling G-d out, abolished prayer and Scripture in its public schools, removed the Ten Commandments from public view. Same when calamity came to ancient Israel; both the righteous and the unrighteous were touched by it. Both perished alike (How can the church think they got a free pass out?). The judgment was upon the nation, both in the private realm of individuals and the public realm of the nation. 2. The terrorist – Nimrod, 9th century B.E. the Assyrians were militaristic and made terror into a science, they had arrogant hearts sinking the land. The Assyrians were a Semitic people speaking Arabic. 9/11 terrorist used words and speech pattern that mirrored the Assyrians in 732 B.E. 9/11 attack was to draw America into military conflict, a global battle against terrorism, encompassing a war in Afghanistan and another in Iraq. Assyria is the same land as Iraq. When a nation turned from G-d, it looses its protective covering for it goes into spiritual slumber, silencing the alarm Isa. 9:10 happen in both times. 3. The bricks – a visible sign of the calamity and of the fact that the nation’s existence now rested on shaky ground. Collapse of buildings, the collapse of a kingdom and then of a civilization = Ground Zero. The world trade center was a symbol of America’s economic power – proud, majestic, and towering. No nations is in vulnerable or exempt its power crashing down. In the first few days and weeks after 9/11, it seemed as if there might be a true national turning, a changing of course, an awakening – even a spiritual revival, that never came for there was no repentance, they did not recognize the deeper meaning. 4. The tower- There leaders vow, ‘We will rebuilt! Bigger, taller and stronger,’ this is the first sign of defiance. A new icon – the Freedom Tower. 5. The Gazit stone (hewn stone), carved out of mountain rock. After the attack, the nations vows to rebuild, not with clay bricks but stone. The gazit stone is, in reality, a symbol of a nation’s rejection of G-d’s calling. The stone is a sign of future calamity linking to the proclaiming of the vow. Misplaced confidence in itt own power to emerge stronger than before. The laying down of the gazit stone was one more link in a chain of judgment. 6. The Sycamore tree (fig mulberry tree). Cutting it down is a sign of warning – uprooting of a kingdom. In the ignoring of the warning becomes a prophecy of judgment. The English Sycamore was a translation of the harbinger. 7. The Erez tree (Cedar) is stronger than the sycamore and was a act of defiance. The cedar was exotic, straight, majestic and towering (over 100 feet). The cedar would stand strong against any future attack. The cedar is like a cone-bearing evergreen that is stronger then the first tree of hope. The second tree became a symbol of national resurgence, confidence and hope – embodies the nation’s defiance. 2003 trees was placed at ground zero. 8. The Utterance – Samaria was the nation’s capital city, the seat of government. For a vow to matter, it has to be spoken by the leaders: it had to be the nation’s official respond. The two targets of 9/11 were New York City and Washington. A vow only matters if it represents the will or voice of the nation; it’s the nation’s response to G-d. And only the leaders can speak for the nation as a whole and set forth its future course. The nation’s leaders pronouncing judgment on their nation! The utterance would join the Assyrian invasion to 9/11. By the summer of 2004 every object mentionable in the ancient prophecy had manifested at ground zero. The utterance would joint the Assyrian invasion to 9/11 and America’s post 9/11 defiance. The most prominent of American leaders had now proclaimed the ancient vow – one of the most obscure verses in the Bible and of the most warning. 9. The Prophecy of Isaiah – prophecy of judgment on the nation’s defiance and arrogance, and a warning a sign foretelling its future. The Senator majority was prophesying by virtue of the office as a instrument to represent the nations future course. America choose the same course as that of ancient Israel, enact the same strategy and walk the same footsteps. Now judgment can be set aside ----IF MY PEOPLE-----

Ahab & Jezebel Spirit

Characteristics of the Ahab Spirit and the Jezebel Spirit [1 Kg. 16: 30] And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him. [31] And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. The life of Ahab shows us principles to avoid. His life is a prime example of what a man should NOT be. Ahab considered the things of G-d as being trivial. The ultimate goal of the Spirit of Ahab is the destruction of G-d ordained authority and responsibility in the Family and in the Body of the Church. A spirit of Ahab symbolizes the giving up of authority and the advocating of responsibility. The Ahab spirit primarily affects men in an attempt to destroy the male and his role of authority and responsibility to his mate and the church. Working together the spirits of Ahab and Jezebel will quietly form a codependent relationship. Both will need to feed off each other in order to accomplish each one’s goals. Ahab held marriage in low esteem and his marriage to Jezebel proved to be a major factor in the eventual fall of the Omride dynasty. He had left the things of G-d to his wife to handle. His spirit will often make truces instead of relationships. It speaks of a mind-set that avoids confrontation and denies fault. King Ahab was efficient and strong in manipulative and administrative powers. He was weak and indecisive in the face of his wife, for he had given his authority to his wife. The wife receives the Head position of the home because he refused to be it, for it took too much energy, he did not set a godly example to his wife and children. Most people do not realize that if a home is out of order G-d will allow it to come under a curse, the end result of this neglect opens the door for rebellious spirits to enter. Too many men fail to provide spiritual leadership in their homes which forces the wife into headship, handing problems or making decisions that he should be taking care of. This is an issue of transferring of responsibilities and in doing this the man will be head responsible. Passive versus Aggressive character traits: Overmerciful versus overlegalistic. Passive people like Ahab tend to be overmerciful, seeing the best in every person and overlooking too much. They forgive others too quickly (not making them aware of their offense) and also forgive people who have not asked for forgiveness and are not even remorseful. This almost certainly guarantees the abuser's continued behavior. Aggressive people like Jezebel are on the other extreme — harsh in their expectations and unforgiving when people do not meet their unrealistic expectations. Walking away from a person versus walking over a person. People with passive Ahab personalities quickly walk away in order to avoid conflict. They find it easier to push their feelings inside. On the other hand, people with aggressive personalities seem to have no concern or conscience about whom they step on and use, as long as they get their way. Avoiding confrontation versus in-your-face confrontation. Passive people avoid confrontation at all costs and will even blame themselves when others insult or betray them. However, aggressive people have no problem handing out insults and pushing blame on whomever they happen to choose. They have no regard for others' feelings, and will more or less tell you this. Peacekeepers versus peacemakers. Passive personalities are notorious for being peacekeepers. They want the temporary, immediate gratification of keeping the peace at any price rather than "making peace" by boldly dealing with the issues at hand, which would result in more permanent, long-term gratification. Grumbling under one's breath versus open verbal abuse. People with passive personalities will resent verbal assaults, but they will refuse to take the offender to task and stop the behavior. Instead, they usually walk away grumbling. Aggressive people feel free to openly vent, abuse others and tell them off. Just minutes later, they will act as if nothing happened, even though they have left resentful people with wounded hearts in their wake. Jezebel personalities are so self-centered that they do not even realize they have severely damaged the people who happened to be in their destructive path, and Ahab personalities leave others feeling responsible for them as victims. Do not mind being wrong (if you'll approve of me) versus refusing ever to be wrong (I'll love you if you see things my way. Passive people often have such a need for approval that they will take the blame for anything if they perceive it as winning them your acceptance. Aggressive people will love you until you disagree with them! Then that love becomes a destructive hatred for you, and they will even go to the point of trying to destroy you and your reputation. Fear of nonacceptance versus fear of rejection. While passive people will do almost anything to gain acceptance, aggressive people (who are always insecure and often wounded people) have a huge fear of rejection. Their actions come out of an "attack mode" because they are determined never to experience rejection again. Low self-esteem (clothed in nice) versus low self-esteem (clothed in fear of more hurt). Passive people are usually nice people — too nice. They have low self-worth and try to gain ground by winning acceptance. Aggressive people also have low self-esteem, but usually they are bold, arrogant and pushy — all in an effort (because of old wounds) to avoid more hurt. Fear of what people think of me versus fear of people not agreeing with me. The fear of man totally binds most passive people. They spend amazing amounts of energy trying to please everyone — even those they do not know or those who could not care less about them. Aggressive individuals, on the other hand, are so insecure that they see anyone who chooses to disagree with them as the enemy. Filled with their own insecurities, aggressive people perceive any type of correction as more rejection. Anger directed inward versus anger directed toward others. Passive people are notorious for directing anger and insults back at themselves. If something goes wrong, they simply blame themselves. They often have major anger issues and will ultimately become passive-aggressive. Aggressive people pour their anger out on anyone who is available. They rarely look at themselves because they are so convinced that they are right. These aggressive personalities are self-appointed figures who think one of their roles is to correct the rest of the world. Sometimes they are sarcastically referred to as "gods in training”. Accepting blame too easily versus projecting blame (you made me do it). Typically, passive people will quickly embrace blame in a situation in order to put everyone else at ease. While this is actually a kind of a false humility, passive people have the goal of making everyone happy again in order to increase their own self-worth. Like Jezebel, aggressive people will take blame for nothing! Even when caught in a wrong, their defense is, "You made me do it." "Yes, I robbed the bank, but it's your fault because you didn't give me enough money”. http://www.propheciesofrevelation.org/jezebel9.php

G-d Punishes Nations

[Jeremiah 9:1] Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people! [2] Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men. [3] And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD. [4] Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders. [5] And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity. [6] Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD. [7] Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people? [8] Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait. [9] Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? The prophet, being commissioned both to foretell the destruction coming upon Judah and Jerusalem and to point out the sin for which that destruction was brought upon them, here, as in America, what he said of both came from the heart, and therefore one would have thought it would reach to the heart. While we find our hearts such fountains of sin, it is fit that our eyes should be fountains of tears, when we hear of the numbers of the slain in great battles and sieges we ought to be much affected with the intelligence, and not to make a light matter of it; though they be not of the daughter of our people, for whatever people they are of, they are of the same human nature with us, and there are so many precious lives lost, as dear to them as ours to us, and so many precious souls gone into eternity. We must not go out of the world, bad as it is, before our time. Time was when the place which G-d had chosen to put His name {In G-d we trust) there was the desire and delight of good men. Men’s ignorance of G-d is the cause of all their ill conduct one towards another. deceitful; therefore there is little hope of one doing any good among them; for, make things ever so plain, they have some trick or other wherewith to shuffle off their convictions. Fair words, when they are not attended with good intentions, are despicable, those that will not know G-d as their Lawgiver shall be made to know Him as their judge. Repent and call upon His name before it is too late! Let us start walking in righteousness and holiness.

Daniel Interceding

Daniel interceding for Israel Dan. 9:5] We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: [6] Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. [7] O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee. [8] O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. [9] To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him; [10] Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. [11] Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. [13] As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. [14] Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice. [19] O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name. [24] Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. [25] Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. [26] And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. [27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. This was the Tribulation for Israel; we have not learned from their mistakes and we are heading for the Tribulation for the Gentiles. History repeats itself; we need to learn to live in righteousness obeying His Words and Laws before it is to late.

Fireproof your Marriage

THE LOVE DARE 40 Days Love Journey Day 1: Love is patient Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. —Ephesians 4:2 NIV TODAY’S DARE The first part of this dare is fairly simple. Although love is communicated in a number of ways, our words often reflect the condition of our heart. For the next day, resolve to demonstrate patience and to say nothing negative to your spouse at all. If the temptation arises, choose not to say anything. It’s better to hold your tongue than to say something you’ll regret Day 2: Love is kind Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. —Ephesians 4:32 TODAY’S DARE In addition to saying nothing negative to your spouse again today, do at least one unexpected gesture as an act of kindness. Day 3: Love is not selfish Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor. —Romans 12:10 TODAY’S DARE Whatever you put your time, energy, and money into will become more important to you. It’s hard to care for something you are not investing in. Along with restraining from negative comments, buy your spouse something that says, “I was thinking of you today.” Day 4: Love is thoughtful How precious also are Your thoughts to me. . . .How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. —Psalm 139:17–18 TODAY’S DARE Contact your spouse sometime during the business of the day. Have no agenda other than asking how he or she is doing and if there is anything you could do for them. Day 5: Love is not rude He who blesses his friend with a loud voice early in the morning, it will be reckoned a curse to him. —Proverbs 27:14 TODAY’S DARE Ask your spouse to tell you three things that cause him or her to be uncomfortable or irritated with you. You must do so without attacking them or justifying your behavior. This is from their perspective only. Day 6: Love is not irritable He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city. —Proverbs 16:32 TODAY’S DARE Choose today to react to tough circumstances in your marriage in loving ways instead of with irritation. Begin by making a list below of areas where you need to add margin to your schedule. Then list any wrong motivations that you need to release from your life. Day 7: Love believes the best [Love] believes all things, hopes all things. —1 Corinthians 13:7 TODAY’S DARE For today’s dare, get two sheets of paper. On the first one, spend a few minutes writing out positive things about your spouse. Then do the same with negative things on the second sheet. Place both sheets in a secret place for another day. There is a different purpose and plan for each. At some point during the remainder of the day, pick a positive attribute from the first list and thank your spouse for having this characteristic. Day 8: Love is not jealous Love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire. —Song of Solomon 8:6 NIV TODAY’S DARE Determine to become your spouse’s biggest fan and to reject any thoughts of jealousy. To help you set your heart on your spouse and focus on their achievements, take yesterday’s list of negative attributes and discreetly burn it. Then share with your spouse how glad you are about a success he or she recently enjoyed. Day 9: Love makes good impressions Greet one another with a kiss of love. —1 Peter 5:14 TODAY’S DARE Think of a specific way you’d like to greet your spouse today. Do it with a smile and with enthusiasm. Then determine to change your greeting to reflect your love for them. Day 10: Love is unconditional God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. —Romans 5:8 TODAY’S DARE Do something out of the ordinary today for your spouse—something that proves (to you and to them) that your love is based on your choice and nothing else. Wash her car. Clean the kitchen. Buy his favorite dessert. Fold the laundry. Demonstrate love to them for the sheer joy of being their partner in marriage. Day 11: Love cherishes Husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. —Ephesians 5:28 TODAY’S DARE What need does your spouse have that you could meet today? Can you run an errand? Give a back rub or foot massage? Is there housework you could help with? Choose a gesture that says, “I cherish you” and do it with a smile. Day 12: Love lets the other win Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. —Philippians 2:4 TODAY’S DARE Demonstrate love by willingly choosing to give in to an area of disagreement between you and your spouse. Tell them you are putting their preference first. Day 13: Love fights fair If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. —Mark 3:25 TODAY’S DARE Talk with your spouse about establishing healthy rules of engagement. If your mate is not ready for this, then write out your own personal rules to “fight” by. Resolve to abide by them when the next disagreement occurs. If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. Day 14: Love takes delight Enjoy life with the wife you love all the days of your fleeting life. —Ecclesiastes 9:9 HCSB TODAY’S DARE Purposefully neglect an activity you would normally do so you can spend quality time with your spouse. Do something he or she would love to do or a project they’d really like to work on. Just be together. Day 15: Love is honorable Live with your wives in an understanding way . . . and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life. —1 Peter 3:7 TODAY’S DARE Choose a way to show honor and respect to your spouse that is above your normal routine. It may be holding the door for her. It might be putting his clothes away for him. It may be the way you listen and speak in your communication. Show your mate that he or she is highly esteemed in your eyes. Day 16: Love intercedes Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. —3 John 2 TODAY’S DARE Begin praying today for your spouse’s heart. Pray for three specific areas where you desire for God to work in your spouse’s life and in your marriage. Day 17: Love promotes intimacy He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. —Proverbs 17:9 NIV TODAY’S DARE Determine to guard your mate’s secrets (unless they are dangerous to them or to you) and to pray for them. Talk with your spouse, and resolve to demonstrate love in spite of these issues. Really listen to them when they share personal thoughts and struggles with you. Make them feel safe. Day 18: Love seeks to understand How blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding. —Proverbs 3:13 TODAY’S DARE Prepare a special dinner at home, just for the two of you. The dinner can be as nice as you prefer. Focus this time on getting to know your spouse better, perhaps in areas you’ve rarely talked about. Determine to make it an enjoyable evening for you and your mate. Day 19: Love is impossible Let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. —1 John 4:7 TODAY’S DARE Look back over the dares from previous days. Were there some that seemed impossible to you? Have you realized your need for God to change your heart and to give you the ability to love? Ask Him to show you where you stand with Him, and ask for the strength and grace to settle your eternal destination. Day 20: Love is Jesus Christ While we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. —Romans 5:6 TODAY’S DARE Dare to take God at His Word. Dare to trust Jesus Christ for salvation. Dare to pray, “Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner. But You have shown Your love for me by dying to forgive my sins, and You have proven Your power to save me from death by Your resurrection. Lord, change my heart, and save me by Your grace.” Day 21: Love is satisfied in God The Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire. —Isaiah 58:11 TODAY’S DARE Be intentional today about making a time to pray and read your Bible. Try reading a chapter out of Proverbs each day (there are thirty-one—a full month’s supply), or reading a chapter in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). As you do, immerse yourself in the love and promises God has for you. This will add to your growth as you walk with Him. Day 22: Love is faithful I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will know the Lord. —Hosea 2:20 TODAY’S DARE Love is a choice, not a feeling. It is an initiated action, not a knee-jerk reaction. Choose today to be committed to love even if your spouse has lost most of their interest in receiving it. Say to them today in words similar to these, “I love you. Period. I choose to love you even if you don’t love me in return.” Day 23: Love always protects [Love] always protects. —1 Corinthians 13:7 NIV TODAY’S DARE Remove anything that is hindering your relationship, any addiction or influence that’s stealing your affections and turning your heart away from your spouse. Day 24: Love vs. Lust The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. —1 John 2:17 TODAY’S DARE End it now. Identify every object of lust in your life and remove it. Single out every lie you’ve swallowed in pursuing forbidden pleasure and reject it. Lust cannot be allowed to live in a back bedroom. It must be killed and destroyed—today—and replaced with the sure promises of God and a heart filled with His perfect love. Day 25: Love forgives What I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ. —2 Corinthians 2:10 TODAY’S DARE Whatever you haven’t forgiven in your mate, forgive it today. Let it go. Just as we ask Jesus to “forgive us our debts” each day, we must ask Him to help us “forgive our debtors” each day as well. Unforgiveness has been keeping you and your spouse in prison too long. Say from your heart, “I choose to forgive.” Day 26: Love is responsible When you judge another, you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the same things. —Romans 2:1 HCSB TODAY’S DARE Take time to pray through your areas of wrongdoing. Ask for God’s forgiveness, then humble yourself enough to admit them to your spouse. Do it sincerely and truthfully. Ask your spouse for forgiveness as well. No matter how they respond, make sure you cover your responsibility in love. Even if they respond with criticism, accept it by receiving it as counsel. Day 27: Love encourages Guard my soul and deliver me; do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You. —Psalm 25:20 TODAY’S DARE Eliminate the poison of unrealistic expectations in your home. Think of one area where your spouse has told you you’re expecting too much, and tell them you’re sorry for being so hard on them about it. Promise them you’ll seek to understand, and assure them of your unconditional love. Day 28: Love makes sacrifices He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers. —1 John 3:16 HCSB TODAY’S DARE What is one of the greatest needs in your spouse’s life right now? Is there a need you could lift from their shoulders today by a daring act of sacrifice on your part? Whether the need is big or small, purpose to do what you can to meet the need. Day 29: Love’s motivation Render service with a good attitude, as to the Lord and not to men. —Ephesians 6:7 HCSB TODAY’S DARE Before you see your spouse again today, pray for them by name and for their needs. Whether it comes easy for you or not, say “I love you,” then express love to them in some tangible way. Go to God in prayer again, thanking Him for giving you the privilege of loving this one special person—unconditionally, the way He loves both of you. Day 30: Love brings unity Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are. —John 17:11 TODAY’S DARE Isolate one area of division in your marriage, and look on today as a fresh opportunity to pray about it. Ask the Lord to reveal anything in your own heart that is threatening oneness with your spouse. Pray that He would do the same for them. And if appropriate, discuss this matter openly, seeking God for unity. Day 31: Love and marriage A man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. —Genesis 2:24 TODAY’S DARE Is there a “leaving” issue you haven’t been brave enough to conquer yet? Confess it to your spouse today, and resolve to make it right. The oneness of your marriage is dependent upon it. Follow this with a commitment to your spouse and to God to make your marriage the top priority over every other human relationship. Day 32: Love meets sexual needs The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband. —1 Corinthians 7:3 TODAY’S DARE If at all possible, try to initiate sex with your husband or wife today. Do this in a way that honors what your spouse has told you (or implied to you) about they need from you sexually. Ask God to make this enjoyable for both of you as well as a path to greater intimacy. Day 33: Love completes each other If two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? —Ecclesiastes 4:11 TODAY’S DARE Recognize that your spouse is integral to your future success. Let them know today that you desire to include them in your upcoming decisions, and that you need their perspective and counsel. If you have ignored their input in the past, admit your oversight and ask them to forgive you. Day 34: Love celebrates godliness [Love] does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. —1 Corinthians 13:6 TODAY’S DARE Find a specific, recent example when your spouse demonstrated Christian character in a noticeable way. Verbally commend them for this at some point today. Day 35: Love is accountable Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. —Proverbs 15:22 NIV TODAY’S DARE Find a marriage mentor—someone who is a strong Christian and who will be honest and loving with you. If you feel that counseling is needed, then take the first step to set up an appointment. During this process, ask God to direct your decisions and discernment. Day 36: Love is God’s Word Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. —Psalm 119:105 TODAY’S DARE Commit to reading the Bible every day. Find a devotional book or other resource that will give you some guidance. If your spouse is open to it, see if they will commit to daily Bible reading with you. Begin submitting each area of your life to its guidance and start building on the rock. Day 37: Love agrees in prayer If two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father. —Matthew 18:19 TODAY’S DARE Ask your spouse if you can begin praying together. Talk about the best time to do this, whether it’s in the morning, your lunch hour, or before bedtime. Use this time to commit your concerns, disagreements, and needs before the Lord. Don’t forget to thank Him for His provision and blessing. Even if your spouse refuses to do this, resolve to spend this daily time in prayer yourself. Day 38: Love fulfills dreams Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart. —Psalm 37:4 TODAY’S DARE Ask yourself what your mate would want if it was obtainable. Commit this to prayer, and start mapping out a plan for meeting some (if not all) of their desires, to whatever level you possibly can. Day 39: Love endures Love never fails. —1 Corinthians 13:8 TODAY’S DARE Spend time in personal prayer, then write a letter of commitment and resolve to your spouse. Include why you are committing to this marriage until death, and that you have purposed to love them no matter what. Leave it in a place that your mate will find it. Day 40: Love is a covenant Where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. —Ruth 1:16 TODAY’S DARE Write out a renewal of your vows and place them in your home. Perhaps, if appropriate, you could make arrangements to formally renew your wedding vows before a minister and with family present. Make it a living testament to the value of marriage in God’s eyes and the high honor of being one with your mate.
