Moneychangers

Moses received Ten Commandments as Israel prepared to enter the Promise land, four of which dealt with one’s relationship with G-d and six with one’s relationship toward others. David, on the other hand, goes beyond those precepts, giving eleven additional commandments for those of Israel who would prepare to re-enter the Promise Land, all which dealt with one’s relationship with his fellow man. This text is for grooming those who were to abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill, Ps. 15:1.
The first Aliyah was in 1882-1903 possessed tenacity and will power. The Second Aliyah was in 1904-14 consisted of many young Russian revolutionaries who brought their socialist ideas of inhumanly high and many couldn’t stand the strain. They broke under the self-imposed discipline, and a great number, almost 80 percent, left. The Second Aliyah turned out to be a survival of the fittest, not necessarily the fittest in muscle but in a power stronger than any physical strength, that of innocence, those who survived became the core of the state.
[Ps. 16:2] He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
[3] He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
[4] In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
[5] He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
The tenth principle condemns those who would violate the Mosaic covenant against charging interest on loans. The present international banking cartel prospers on a principle of usury. When antichrist makes his bid for world domination, he will control the world’s currencies, requiring his mark for buying and selling. Perhaps Moses and David foresaw that generation which would yield to the control of the moneychangers
[1] Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
[6] The lines or boundaries of the Promise Land are kept by G-d. Even through the Sikes Picot treaty in 1916 tried to undermine Jewish rights to the land, the Chosen People are yet to prevail. Lord Balfour had written the declaration as a reward to Chaim Weizmann for his discover of the raw material for explosives. He found horse chestnuts were a perfect source of making acetone and butyl alcohol for explosives.
G-d was obliged to benefit Israel because of the saints who are buried in the earth. G-d must keep His promise to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David.
The term, thou maintainest my lot has been also translated, You guided my destiny. Through twenty long centuries, the wandering Jew thought he was alone, but G-d was there, behind the scenes guiding the course of events.
[10] For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Even in the midst of the fires of World War 1, the Chosen People were to witness a resurrection of Jewish hopes for their own land. After three thousand years in a political grave, Israel still was preserve from corruption. Messiah’s three days in the grave also may have been prophetic of Israel’s three millennia exile under Babylon, Media/Persia, Greece and Rome.
According to Rashi, this is neither a prayer nor a request. It is a prophetic statement about the future. G-d was unfolding His plan to deliver the Jewish people, return them to their land, and send Messiah to establish His Millennial kingdom. The following year, 1997 was to see a major development toward the fulfillment of that prophecy.
[Ps. 17: 8] Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
In that sacred city, which had been under the Gentile yoke exactly 2,520 years was freed on December 9, 1917, which was the first day of the feast Chanuka, or the 24th day of Chisleu. About 2,000 years before, according to the Jewish calendar, Judas Maccabeus, having taken possession of Jerusalem, re-dedicated the Temple and celebrated this remarkable victory.
It seems that G-d has a flare for fulfilling prophecies on the anniversaries of similar events which occurred in the pages of the O.T.
Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the L-rd’s Temple was laid, consider from this day will I bless you says Haggai 2:18-19. The time references of this chapter places it in the generation which will see the shaking of the nations; and I will shake all nations,, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the L-rd of host in Haggai 2:7.
They will conclude with the coming of the desire of all nations to establish the house with glory. Not only did Great Britain take Jerusalem on the 24th day of the ninth month, they entered the war against Germany on August 4, 1914, which, in the Jewish Calendar was on the 9th of Av, the anniversary of the destruction of both Solomon’s Temple and Herod’s Temple!

This study on Psalms is fantastic!
As I read, I find myself knowing how little I know and I will NEVER look at the Psalms and the Word as I once have done. Thank you for opening my eyes to the mysteries and for the humbling thunder that tossed me to the ground in reverence to what is REALLY being said. I only pray God will allow me to understand that which He wants me to know. Thank you for the depth of this study.
