Bride To Be

Years have come and years have gone but I kept believing on. As a bride waiting for the groom, I planed and dreamed of him coming soon. Preparing my heart and opening my eyes to see the true priorities in this life. What really matters is not the material things, but the spiritual blessings to being a wife. One that stands as a help meet to her mate, to up lift and encourage him in his fate. What may come whether it be friend or foe, you’ll find us walking side by side, holding hands as we adventure through the land. Secrets spoken, whispers heard as we open our hearts to the Word. Two individuals becoming one, unity has just begun. No longer saying that is his or this is mine for in our love all is as one. We will make it to the end because we have placed the Father as our ‘all in all’, and our mate is number one. What a blessing to be a bride to the groom standing by my side.

Waves of Blessings

Did I not tell you I would restore what the canker-worm has eaten? You have been waiting a long time and questioning if it was still coming. My Timing is always the right time, and that time has now come. You see in part when I see the whole plan for your life. I had to replenish things, remove things and restore things out of your life. I have been working on your behalf and all things work out for the good for those that love Me. I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a joyful future. You have walk through many trials and tribulations to perfect you to who you are today. Now I tell you, the latter part of your life will be greater then the former! Wave upon wave of blessings will be upon you. True happiness, peace of mind and secured in My provision. You have been anointed to pass on the wisdom from your life’s experiences, for you had walk with Me through it all. Releasing the last of your burdens has open the waves of blessings. Teach the younger and encourage the older to stand on My promises for My Word is true and never returns void. Troubles may come and go but you will pass through the storms of life unharmed, for you know I will be by your side to the end of life’s race. Enjoy and recognize each blessing for you have My favor. I am a loving Father who loves to pour out good gifts upon My children. You are blessed! You are loved! You are protected by Me. You will never feel like your walking alone again, for you have grown strong in faith, trusting in Me. Be fully blessed and cherished, for My time is always the right time. Abba

Living Fully Alive

What does that mean actually?
Are we excited and enjoying life?
Or just existing, barely getting by?
I had the privilege to learn a lesson from a senior man who still thrives to live.
It got me to do some deep thinking about myself. I would have to say two years ago I was just putting one foot in front of the other. Having to live my life in situations that were out of my control until I learned to make my own chooses through broken antennas.
One day you blink your eyes and find your loved ones have all grown up and you seem to have no more purpose and your dreams have fell at the way side.
Now G-d promised to restore what the cancer-worm has eaten, and I believe He will, all in His timing. I was not out looking for a mate or anything in particular, just going from day to day and doing the best I can. Then one day at a church love feast, my son and I sat across from a man who just happed to be sitting at a table by himself. What seemed to attract me to choose to sit there was his outward expression of what I was feeling inwards. I instantly related to this man that I had never talked too, I could feel his pain, fear, confusion; he could not see his self-worth, for his antennas had been broken for a long time. Now all this was taking place as I am walking to the table, thinking ‘I can help this man for I know how he is feeling’, of course the advisory made a few wise remarks, but I brushed him aside for I knew what I needed to do.
I believe I am on a ‘mission’ for G-d and I love being used by Him. Now remember I had no alternative motive, just going to pull this man up by his straps, build him up in the L-rd, and set his feet on solid grown again.
Well I think the laugh is on me, my Father has a sense of humor, for He knows how to come in the back door sometimes, so I can not block or argue what He is trying to do, accomplish in my life, getting me to let past things go.
Two years has now came and gone and I am still with this same person. I do not know how or when it happed but somehow G-d had me give 100% of my feelings to him. This is NEVER been a consideration in my life to anyone – one must always be on guard to prevent being hurt.
Do you notice G-d does not always tell you what He plans on doing, nor shows you the big picture?
Well I would like to tell you this all has a happy ending but G-d not only has to work on one party but on the other as well. Our responses are how fast we can let go and let G-d do a mighty work in us.
What I can say is win, loose or draw I am glad our paths had cross for I became fully alive for the past two years! Whether it works out or not, I gave it my all and life has not past me by, for G-d was and is not finished with me yet!!
Don’t let the advisory tell you that you are done and finished! That you have no worth. Nor that you are unlovable. Remember he is the father of all lies and he will use whomever he can to rob you of your happiness and bring you down so you will not complete the plans G-d has for your life.
Live life to the fullest , not all things in life are coincidences, but maybe just maybe they were directed by G-d.
Life in itself is scary, fear is not of Him, His advice to me and you is:
“Even if afraid, just do it – put your trust in Me, or you may end up in a stalemate going nowhere.”

Word for me

You are an eagle and eagles fly alone.
The power of the Lord will be upon you in a new Way! You are to bear the vessels of the Lord! You are not to touch the unclean, but to keep pure as you go forth from here. For I will march before you, and I the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
I have appointed you before you were born and made your mouth like a sharpened blade, hiding you in the shadow of My hand. Bring back Jacob to Me!
I will make you a light unto the Gentiles. Say to the prisoners: GO FREE, to those
Who are in darkness: SHOW YOURSELVES, FOR He who loves them, will Lead them.
Pass through the gates! Clear the road for the people. Announce to Zion that
Their Deliver is coming. You will not side with people anymore but will side with Me. You are to do and to speak for Me, don’t wait for a position and don’t wait for a title – just do it! Allow Me to flow through you. For I will remind you, that My Word shall not return onto Me void, sayith the Lord your God! And I sent it into your life, My Word and it shall accomplish and you shall go forth in the name of the Lord. You shall be strong in My name sayith the Lord your God! And you shall not be lacking, you shall not be wanting, and you shall not be wavering. You shall be aware of the calling into the ministry that is given unto you. You shall be bold in your God. You shall say yes and thus and thus sayith the Lord. You shall indeed lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
Amen and Amen and many shall be the trophies that you shall bring before your God in the coming day. For as the Priest of God, you were given a claw shape fork to stick into the meat on the alter, so the Lord your God has dealt into your life. You will sup with Me daily and I will come into your life in a wonderful way. I came in never the less looking for a sacrifice. And as your realized what I wanted, you stiffen and the Lord Your God seen your stiffen scared face. So I have turned the tables on you, and not only are you a sacrifice but you are called to be a priest, the charnels of sacrifice.
You must learn the prong rules and deliver on to your God. You shall stand before the alter and you shall deliver to your God. And I have called you to understand these things and I have Called you to be trained in these things. And you say the end is not yet, for the Lord of Israel has been reviled onto you, little by little and piece by piece.
You are My pearl of great price in whom I have sent My anointing. I have placed you
on a solid foundation of faith. Feed My sheep and love My lambs.
In His service,
Jim Partington

Days of my years

Ecc. 6:3 our life is to be reckoned rather by days than years.
Why is that, I asked myself? Pondering over the question for days and getting no answers I turned it over to the Father, “It is not how many years you live that matter, but what you did in days of your years.”
Now that is heavy and requires much more thought to consider all sides.
It has been said to me that “live is all about me,” well I sure do wish that had been true and I would have had more to say about myself in early life, no more beatings, no more verbal abuse, no more sexual abuse, no more being locked in dark closets, no more being unwanted nor unloved or abundant. No more blood running, from scars of the whip to embarrassing me in school, I might have made friends along life’s path and I would not have had to build such strong walls to hide behind to save myself from darts that keep coming my way.
But unfortunately life did not revolve around me and I can not change the feelings of others; I asked the Father if I gave off that impression that I am all it – and He answered, “You are about you – it is your walk with Me that you concentrate on. You have been a good student of My Word and studied to show yourself approved, not to empress mankind but to impress Me. You know you will be held accountable for every word, deed and action you chose to do – the great news is My daughter, is that you always come running to Me when you fall down or get into a mess, so let Me dry those tears and send you back on your course; I will see you at the finish line.”
I know I have wasted many years and many, and like my child I thought I knew better than my mother and needed to play life’s games, but as the days went on I knew that her instructions were not all that fare off from the truth and she meant to save me from more harm.
Why do we think OLD means stupid? She was far from stupid and had stumbled over the many holes in the road herself. Why do we have to learn the hard way? Each generation ignores the ones before them when in reality people never change from the beginning of time and they show who they real are = we just don’t believe then the first time.
I was told I have a “strong personality, a forceful one,” it was not meant as a complement and I questioned G-d about it. “People see in part were I see the whole picture. They do not see were you come from and what I have done in you and what I have for you. I have made you strong to endure what you were going to walk through and with your strong will, I will use for My glory for you carry My authority and you will be able to talk to the intellect and stand toe to toe with the forceful.”
As I pressed into building a relationship with my Heavenly Father I tried to mend past feelings and change circumstances but one can only change themselves.
Everyone has issues they have to deal with from chooses they had made.
So what have I done with my remanding days of my years is dealing with my own issues, trying to tear them down one by one with the Father’s help. Breaking bondages and soul-ties, and staying away from those that mean to harm me.
Daily pressing in and growing to my full potential with the Savoir of my soul, which for me involves studying the deep mysteries and working to full understanding – but the more I learn the more I have to learn – what a privilege He has given me.
I have not arrived yet – but does anyone or do we keep plugging away until the very end of life’s breath.
What are you doing with the days of your years?
Are you working towards eternity or still thinking about the here and now?
Don’t let anyone tear you down, not even your own, to strand strong you must know who you are in the L-rd and don’t look back or look down, for He has you in the palm of His hands.

I Dreamed a dream

I Dreamed a Dream

I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving

Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they turn your hope apart
As they turn your dreams to shame

And still I dream he’d come to me
That we would live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather

I had a dream my life would be
So different from the hell I’m living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed

House groups get clicky

Recorded Conversation
Tuesday August between Jim (host) and Guest:
Guest: Hi Jim, I was just about to call you, I just finished studying.
Jim: I was just calling to tell you there will be no house group tonight.
Guest: Because Ann will not be there so they can get their paper work done?
Jim: That and I have some thinking and praying to do about things.
Guest: Considering me?
Jim: Yes, as a matter of fact.
Guest: If it is about me and Ann we are fine, I talked to her the other day.
Jim: Well, she just called me this morning and was quite upset, said you rimed her out.
Guest: Wow, she never told me that, we ended the conversaiton with her coming up to the lake finish what she needed to do. So do you want me to pick up my things?
Jim: Yes, you are like Greg Violi, being unkind, unloving and unmerciful, and I don’t want that in our group.
Guest: Greg! Wow, that is hitting below the belt. Was I ever unkind, unloving or unmerciful at any of the house groups?
Jim: No
Guest: Was I ever unkind, unloving or unmerciful when you all were up at my house?
Jim: No
Guest: Then I do not understand.
Jim: You were unkind to Ann on the phone, and our group is for the broken-hearted soul.
Guest: So you believe whatever Ann said, plus sharing 'my personal venting', and you decided to keep one broken-hearted soul and through one away.
Jim: We have been ministering with Ann for two years at Denise and Sue’s.
Guest: Ann and I have known each other for 13 years. But I am sorry you feel that way! I certainly did not mean to hurt anyone. I'm sorry I sent you a ‘personal venting’ e-mail, I thought of you as the leader of the group and concealed everyone of the group, I should not have vented to you. It is 90 % my fault for expecting to much, Ann has build you guys up to me, and I was starting to believe her that your group was a safe place.
Jim: I never planed on you teaching all the time, you stay in the Old Testament and we are under grace not the Law anymore.
Guest: Ok, if you put my things out in front of your garage I will pick it up by 2 pm.
Thank you for calling to let me know, before I droved 35 miles one way.

Wow, I am in shock! What just happen? A phone call made on my own time got me kick out of the group, hard lesson to learn.

Answering the Father's call

Song given to G.H
That was sang at my teaching of ‘Laying down your sacrifice’.
She did not know before hand what I was teaching about. 2000

Answering the Father's call

I will give you all
I will give you all
No matter what the price may be I will not fall
And if my sacrifice is less
Then giving you my very best
Help me remember Calvary’s cost
And be willing to give all

Where is the lamb? Papa where’s the lamb?
Where is the lamb? Papa where’s the lamb?
We need a lamb?
G-d will provide the lamb!

Climbing up Moriah Mountain
Answering the Father’s call
Any doubts had all been forgotten
Pressing on determined not to fall
Step by step a walk of faith
Obedience at the highest price
Tool up the wood – preparing an altar
An offering of sacrifice.

Where is the lamb? Papa where’s the lamb?
Where is the lamb? Papa where’s the lamb?
We need a lamb?
G-d will provide the lamb!

Triumphant Reserve

Song given to M.M.L 2009
That was sang at my teachings of Heal Memories: She did not know what I was teaching about.

Triumphant Reserve

I’m one of G-d’s triumphant reserve
Kept for Your purposes, ready to serve
My mind is conformed to Your Spirit and Word
Aligned with Your promises both seen and heard.

I will rest in Your goodness
Lean on Your love
I will bow down in worship
Gain strength from above.
I will walk in Your favor
Submit to Your ways
And carry Your glory all of my days.

For You know the plans that You have form
Plans to prosper my destiny.
I am free from my captivity
And brought to the place where I’m meant to be.

You’re my destiny! You are my destiny!

Young Spirit

The crown of my head is slowly turning silver (wisdom is finally coming through); and my speed is slowing down.
But my spirit is soaring higher and higher reaching holier ground.
My strength is getting weaker with each approaching day, I must exercise my mind and body to keep it functioning as I can go about my way.
Where I am weak He is strong so I keep pressing in to draw from the Holy of Holies.
My eyes seem to grow dimmer but I seem to see deeper than before, for I leave reality at heavens open door.
My feet are getting old and tired to carry this body around. But they have kept me on the straight and narrow and not allowed me to be blown around.
My hands seem to be all wrinkled and veins are poking out, but they can still hold a love one and comfort the broken hearted soul, and lift up in praise of our L-rd.
Some days breathing seems to be a chore, but everyday that we take another breath we must remember to thank the L-rd. For then we know our mission on this side is not finished yet and we can still be a servant to the L-rd.
Getting old just means you have ran the race, developing wisdom as you have traveled life’s weary road.
Run, crawl or be carried towards the mark and receive your heavenly reward.
My spirit has not seem to caught up with my body, for it appears to be as a young spirit with exciting energy to seek out the next assignment from the Father.
What a day that will be when we see can look face to face with our Creator and He says “come up here”.
Live will then just begin and death will be no more.

Healing Memories

Pain/ Stress/ Offences/ Anxiety
Examples give from long-lived and tormenting trauma memories including:
Adversary, what was done, the affects it took, and your reaction.
Testimony: I have lived in this realm for 62 years. I had several memories of trauma experiences at home, work and personal life associated with various places and times. I tried not to look at it because it triggered the wound. But if it helps another I will pass through this door. Many of my memories are contaminated by associations with pain or failure and are robbing me of my joy and stealing my dreams and large portions of my history as well as my future. My past and my memories of pain, shame and failure are holding me back. This is probably another way of saying that I had ungodly ties to time, people or land at each of the trauma points in my life. I can cut the ungodly ties to the dimensions but how do I deal with the memories?
Parents - lacked nurturing, one can not give what they did not possess. This resulted in low self teem for me, it leaves one hiding behind many mask they now put on. My reaction many years later was to remove the mask one by one, and found myself lost, for I could play any part assign to me and lost to whom I was meant to be. I am still searching.
Discipline went beyond spanking to beatings that drew first blood. This leaves one harden to survive and dreaming of drawing the second blood. I killed all emotions in my body and stop crying at the age of seven, no matter what happen I did not react – I was invisible and did not exists. There was no one home behind those dark sunken eyes. This went on until I turn 40 and ran into a brick wall call menopause. G-d open up the water fountain and forgot to turn it off.
When D day came, (pay back time) I struggled for I seemed to have good and evil sitting on my shoulders – which one to choose – this time I choose right and let offender live.
In 2007 I had ran out of blood (literally) and only bled water – enough was enough!
Locked in close areas for hours on end makes one claustrophobic, and afraid of their own shadow, let along the buggy man who dwelled in the closet. One may become submissive to prevent it from happing or defiant, I choose the latter and made peace with the surrounding darkness, for I went through a life time of hiding.
Verbal abuse is much harder than physical for physical will heal but verbal goes into the brain and if heard enough times you accept it as truth. Developing extreme low self teem, unworthiness, one gets tired of accomplishing the un-acceptable. My reaction as of now is to rewire my brain from a negative point of view to a positive. Undoing the thinking pattern that had been developed into checking every thought that passes through and rejecting the harmful ones.
Sexual abuse started with step-father, and then spread to trafficking until I decided to traffic myself, then I was in control and called the shots. Effects are to numerous to say, for it affected every area of my life. Love was a four letter word to me and did not apply, I could love but not receive affection, for I was told I was unlovable by my mother.
Sex was only a performance; one could have the body but not the soul, noboby realy wanted to know me, but then I did not even know myself. It was the only thing I was told I did well and everyone likes to be praised for something.
Nightmares never seem to cease and scars ran deep. My reaction came to “game over” – I had nothing to prove to anyone and I was tired of being used, abuse and cast aside. I seek one who wanted my mind as well as the body – I did not find any and stop looking.
Friends – I carry a very small circle and surround myself with only ‘save’ people. One does not know who their friends are until the going gets rough and then are surprise with whom went the distance with you.
Christians – can hurt you more than anyone for you do not expect offenses from them. It took me a lot of hard knocks to learn that they are just human beings that will make mistakes, even on my behalf, and grace was lacking in me. Not all believers are true Christians, even a drunk on the street well say he is one – I start examining the fruit and approach with collusion, or stayed as ‘the long ranger’. Now I am trying to show myself friendlier and see them through G-d’s eyes. G-d suggested that I could revisit those places and bless them and intercede for them. I have return to many places and walked the land, brushing off the residue and replacing the old with a new thought, praying for the release of the gifts, doing some identification repentance for the iniquity on the land, asking G-d to heal the spot of accumulated trauma.
Bottom line – I am removing anything that causes stress or pain from my life, which can include family, this old body can not endure any more. Over the years I could endure high leaves of pain, I had physical strength that was unbeatable, but life has taken its toil.
I was a victim, then a survivor, but now I am a thriver and running the race to the finish line. There are days I seem to be crawling and days I must be carried but never the less I am pushing forward and praying the latter part of my life to be filled with happyness and joy.
May I find true piece that passes all understanding the accept the true meaning of love when given. A broken hearted soul to be restored from what the cancer worm has eaten.
I am received deep healing and realignment of spirit, soul and body as my memories are brought into divine alignment.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
I know that doing this will actually benefit the person who makes this prayer as much as it benefits prayee, I have seen it happen first hand.

I am a human being

I will fail, but I am not a failure.
There is good and bad in the world.
I will do bad things, but I am not a bad person.
I will also do good things, but it does not always appear good to others.
There are right and wrong answers.
I will give a wrong answer, but I am not always wrong.
I will give a right answer, but it may not be right for others.
I am a collection of ideas, impressions and experiences. I act upon that collection that was installed into my childhood.
We may act differently – that is okay, for we were created as individuals.
My failure may be your success.
My good deed may be your wrong deed.
My bad deed may be your good deed.
My right answer may be your wrong answer.
My wrong answerer may be your right answer.
It is okay if we are different; different is not always a bad thing. For the Father has us all on different callings and paths we must travel.
I am responsible for one human being to stay on the salvation road and that is me.
I know only one collection of thoughts and that is my own, but that can be developed with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Who I am depends on me, and that is no one else’s fault. For once I am of age it is up to me to change what needs to be changed to make life more pleasant for me and those around me.

The scars of life

The Scripture teaches that G-d loves you. You are a child of G-d. He wants to protect you and provide for you in every way.
But sometimes we foolishly wade into dangerous situations, not knowing what lies ahead. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril - and we for get that the enemy is waiting to attack. That's when the tug-of-war begins - and if you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He did not and will not ever let you go.
You just never know where a person is in his/her life and what they are going through.
Never judge another person's scars, because you don't know how they got them.

Somebody out there

There’s Somebody out there
There’s somebody out there hurt and confused,
an innocent child being abused!
There’s somebody out there who’s heart is breaking in two!
There’s somebody out feeling alone
A husband or wife being done wrong!
There’s somebody out there shattered from a broken heart.

But there’s somebody out here with arms open wide that longs to embrace you, dry the tears from your eyes.
He’s hope for the helpless. He’ll carry the burdens you bear –
when you don’t have a prayer, there’s somebody out there.

There’s somebody out there who thought it was cool to keep taking chances thinking they could never loose. Now they're hooked on a feeling that left them empty and full.
There’s somebody out there that can’t quite decide whether to live or whether to die! They’re searching for strength - to get through their crises in life.

But there’s somebody out here with arms open wide that longs to embrace you, dry the tears from your eyes.
He’s hope for the helpless. He’ll carry the burdens you bear - when you don’t have a prayer, there’s somebody out there.

But there’s somebody out here with arms open wide that longs to embrace you, dry the tears from your eyes.
He’s hope for the helpless. He’ll carry the burdens you bear –
when you don’t have a prayer, there’s somebody out there.

Emphysema

My mother has the beginning of beginnings of emphysema breathing problems, people who smoke plus non – smokers can get this. She has quite smoking for many years not. Treatment is Low-flow oxygen therapy may be prescribed for continual use, during exertion, or during sleep, and is typically administered through a nasal cannula. Oxygen therapy requires careful measurement by a doctor to determine the correct dosing (flow rate) because if too little is administered, the patient still experiences symptoms. However, if too much oxygen is administered, the patient can cause further, long-term damage to the lungs.
Emphysema patients are prone to lung infections, which if left untreated, can be life threatening. When respiratory infections accompany the emphysema, antibiotics may be prescribed. It is critical that the patient follow the instructions carefully to avoid becoming resistant to the antibiotic treatment.
Since emphysema patients are susceptible to frequent lung infections, it is important that they keep the lung passages from becoming mucous. Drinking sufficient fluids and occasionally using a mist inhaler can help keep mucus from accumulating in the lungs, and therefore reduce susceptibility of bacterial infections.
Pulmonary rehabilitation may be suggested to improve exercise tolerance and quality of life. However, any exercise program should be performed only under doctor supervision. This is one of the newest treatments for emphysema that have proven to be effective in slowing the progression of the disease.
I understand that smoking is an addiction; they say it is worse to quite than trying to break the strongest dope. Smokers have rights same as non-smokers, but their rights have been taken away, since you can't smoke in enclosed public areas anymore. If you are around a smoker and it offends you – move away from them; allow individual chooses by maintaining yours.I agree with everyone who's said if you want to condone someone for smoking which may damages your health, the same would have to go for anyone overweight. Anyone with a poor diet maybe even anyone without an EXCELLENT diet? Anyone who drinks too much, anyone who abuses drugs, anyone who works in dangerous jobs, and anyone who drives too fast, anyone who you know...who lives. A lot of things can end up killing you, once they said it was the red m&ms, every year they come up with different health tips revising the old theories. A lot of diseases could have been preventable through diet and lifestyle [heart disease, etc] and a lot of accidents could have been prevented through precaution etc. Essentially YOUR reaction to a situation is YOUR responsibility, and as harsh as it sounds, other people shouldn't have to spend their lives not-doing-things [like smoking, drinking, eating etc] just because of how YOU might react if it should kill them. Do you enjoy spending time with them, or harp on the subject? I personally would like the harpers not to be around, for loving me is letting me be me.
Smoking has been proven to shorten your life, and if you have kids it means they lose you earlier, it is not the time you spend together but the quality of that time. But I think this applies to drinking too much as well, because that messes up the liver and a bad diet to (because weight + diet can be inherited). The point is, a lot of things our parents do could be deemed selfish, but no one is perfect, INCLUDEING children, and friends.
There are so many ways you could look at this. What if smoking was the only thing stopping the people form having a complete mental breakdown? 'I have scars because I have a past; but they, like my past, do not define my future' In the olden days Doctors use to recommend smoking to calm their patients down.
We all reap what we sow – it is called free chooses – and death were is thy sting – grave were is thy victory?
Live and let live for we are all individuals heading to the same destination.

Tears are a Language

John 11: 35 Y’Shua Wept
A very short verse, but it affords many useful instructions.
1. That Y’Shua Hamshiach was really and truly man, and partook with the children, not only of flesh and blood, but also of a human soul, vulnerable of the impressions of joy, and grief, and other affections.
Messiah gave this proof of His humanity, in both senses of the word; that, as a man, He could weep, and, as a merciful man, He would weep, before He gave this proof of His divinity.
2. That He was a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, as was foretold, Isaiah 53:3. We never read that He laughed, but more than once we have Him in tears. Thus He shows not only that a mournful state will consist with the love of the Father, but that those who sow to the Spirit must sow in tears.
3. Tears of compassion well become Believers, and make them most to resemble the Messiah. It is a relief to those who are in sorrow to have their friends sympathize with them, especially such a friend as their L-rd Y’Shua.
It becomes us, according to this example of Y’Shua, to show our love to our friends, both living and dying. Though our tears profit not the dead, they embalm their memory.
These tears were indications of His particular love to Lazarus, but He has given proofs no less evident of His love to all the saints, in that He died for them.
If Y’Shua's friends, whom He loves, died, --if His people, whom He loves, be persecuted and afflicted, --we must not impute it to any defect either in His power or love, but conclude that it is because He sees it for the best.

We find our tears

Part of the reason women are so tired is because we are spending so much energy trying to “keep it together.” So much energy devoted to suppressing the pain and keeping a good appearance. “I’m gonna harden my heart,” sang Rindy Ross. “I’m going to swallow my tears.” A terrible, costly way to live your life and part of this is driven by fear that the pain will overwhelm us for we will be consumed by our sorrow. It’s an understandable fear – but it is no more true than the fear we had of the dark as children.
Grief, dear sisters, is good. Grief helps to heal our hearts. Why, Y’Shua himself was a “Man of sorrows, acquainted with grief.” (Isa. 53:3)
Let the tears come. Get alone, get to your car or your bedroom or the shower and let the tears come. Let the tears come. It is the only kind thing to do for your woundedness. Allow yourself to feel again. And feel you will – many things.
Anger. That’s okay. Anger’s not a sin (Eph. 4:26).
Remorse. Of course you do.
Fear. Yes, that makes sense. Y’Shua can handle the fear as well. In fact, there is no emotion you can bring up that Y’Shua can’t handle. (Look at the Psalms – they are a raging sea of emotions).
Let it all out.As Augustine wrote in his Confessions, “The tears . . . streamed down, and I let them flow as freely as they would, making of them a pillow for my heart. On them it rested.” Grief is a form of validation; it says the wound mattered. It mattered. You mattered. That’s not the way life was supposed to go.
There are unwept tears down in there – the tears of a little girl who is lost and frightened.
The tears of a teenage girl who's been rejected and has no place to turn.
No one understands the tears of a woman whose life has been hard and lonely and nothing close to her dreams.
Let them come it is a cleansing.

Offer your heart

Women minister something to the heart of G-d that men do not. Look at the record.
It was a woman who rushed into the Pharisee’s house uninvited and washed Y’Shua’s’ feet with her tears, dried them with her hair and kissed them in an act of intimate repentant worship.
It was a woman who broke the alabaster vase over Y’Shua’s head, anointing Him with oil and the fragrance of her sacrificial worship filled the room.
It was women who followed Y’Shua from Galilee to care for His needs.
It was women who stayed at the foot of the cross offering Him the comfort of their presence until Y’Shua breathed His last.
It was to women that Y’Shua first revealed Himself after He rose from the dead and it was women who first “clasped His feet and worshiped Him” as the Risen, Victorious
L-rd. Women hold a special place in the heart of G-d.
A woman’s worship brings Y’Shua immense pleasure and a deep ministry.
You can minister to the heart of G-d. You impact Him. You matter!
Y’Shua desires you to pour out your love on Him in extravagant worship that ministers to His heart.
This is not just for women who have the time; women who are really spiritual.
You are made for romance and the only one who can offer it to you consistently and deeply is Y’Shua.
Offer your heart to Him.

An Unholy Alliance

Over the years we’ve come to see that the only thing more tragic than the things that have happened to us is what we have done with them. Words were said; painful words. Things were done; awful things. And it shaped us to our way of thinking, acting, seeing and believing.
Something inside of us shifted. We embraced the messages of our wounds. We accepted a view of ourselves through another’s eyes. And from that we chose a way of relating to our little world.
We made a vow never to be in that place again.
We adopted strategies to protect ourselves from being hurt again.
A person that is living out of a broken, wounded heart is a person who is living a self-protective life. They may not be aware of it but it is true. It’s our way of trying to “save ourselves.” We also developed ways of trying to get something of the love our hearts cried out for, ache is there, and will it ever be filled?
Our desperate need for love and affirmation, our thirst for some taste of romance and adventure and something to be wanted for - is still there. So we turned to the opposite sex or to food or to novels, and we lost ourselves in our work or at church or in some sort of service.
All this adds up to the person we have become today.
Much of what we call our “personalities” is actually the mosaic of our choices for self-protection plus our plan to get something of the love and acceptance we were created to have. But not all of us had good role models to follow. The problem is, our plan has nothing to do with G-d, or His ways. The wounds we received and the messages they brought form a sort of unholy alliance with our fallen nature as people.
We will control our world, from hurting us, so we think,
But there is also an ache deep within, an ache for intimacy and for life.
We’ll have to find a way to fill it.
We’ll just have to arrange for the life G-d wants us to have by opening His Book and find His love and acceptance. Can we learn to see ourselves through His eyes? It will take much time but it can be done.
Best time to start is today!

Lessons from my garden

Reaching out to touch the soft petals of flowering irises in lavender, rose, yellows, blues and snowy white, I hum softly “I come to the garden alone”. Everything around me – the rustling leaves, the scent of newly turned earth, and the warmth of my pet’s attention all assures me that this is a kind of sacred place. Is it any wonder that all my life I’ve loved to be outside nurturing and watch things grow to full beauty? How can anything so compact give off such tremendous perfume?
My son and I build sturdy planters to rise what we call G-d’s garden, in our yard then we picked flats of herbs, flowers and vegetables to show His Glory. Many friends and family have given us cuttings of their treasures to place in G-d’s garden.
I have to kneel to work my hands in the soil but when I do, I feel as if I am doing it onto the L-rd, for all things belong to Him. I am just the caretaker of what He gives me. With the sun at my back and my pets by my side, my hands bury deep in the soil, I felt connected to the things that really matter and my worries evaporate like the morning dew. If you listen carefully all nature can talk to you in that small wispering voice, you just need to watch for the signs of what they need to become all they can be.
No matter where your garden grows, it can enrich your life, as I worked, I felt my heartbeat slow sown, my body relax, my whole being becoming quiet and soften. I seemed to be developing a strong root system for my plants and myself. It keeps you rooted in your values, rituals, traditions; I even name the weeds as I struggle to pull them out. Between this growth and activity, bumblebees and butterflies drift by, and rabbits, squirrels and birds drop in to see what they can find for lunch.
I planted and tended those plants, giving them all the nourishment they needed and in return they nourished me spiritually. I learn to embrace the season for nothing compares to the excitement spring brings as new life comes back exuberantly. Suddenly, my yard is alive with color and fragrance. Yet, not long after they appear, those first flowers wither and it makes me sad, but then happy for by summer, there is new life in other gorgeous plants. Yes, to everything there is a season. We must adapt, grow and change. Instead of lamenting lost and wanting for control of nature, I rejoice in each plant that blooms and grows straight and tall.
Even in winter, when it looks like nothing is happening, life is at work – bulbs storing up energy for next spring, perennials resting, soil breaking down into rich mulch. And as our gardens go through their seasons of change, so too do we, just waiting sometimes to understand the larger purpose in our lives. It will come, as sure as crocuses in the spring.
I might live far from love ones, but I never feel lonely in my garden and walking in the cool of the day with my L-rd. The sadness in my heart at times seemed overwhelming as I unwrapped plants, whose roots and stalks look lifeless, but the Heavenly Gardener instructs me in the principle of life and death and renewal. To my astonishment, they flourish transforming before my very eyes. Digging, snipping, and putting my face into a full-blown rose and breathing deeply. In its rhythms, it offers the closest analogy to the concept of resurrection available to us. Renewal is always in the hand of the Creator of His Garden giving us our own small patch of eternity, well we enjoy each of the four seasons He has given us.
