I personaly like to start out with a Juicing Fasting
Juicing fast is often recommended because of the healing properties that vegetables and fruits possess. While an extra boost of energy can be enjoyed from this type of fasting, also includes a healthy cleansing and detoxification of the body. A less restrictive method can be found in a de-tox diet that incorporates fruit juices with other foods, such as grains, nuts and seeds.
It is recommended to have a juice intake of between 32 and 64 ounces per day. In addition to this, at least six glasses of water at room temperature is necessary.
Get enough sleep at night.
Add in protein in the form of supplements after the third day.
You should insure that you only do juicing diets at the most twice per year.
You want to keep your diet during these few weeks to just fruits, vegetables, raw nuts and beans that are organic.
The best vegetables to use when juicing for weight loss are “negative calorie foods” – those that require more calories to digest than they contain. Dark greens, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, and cabbage are among the best vegetables to use in juice recipes for weight loss. Also consider using asparagus, cucumber, and celery, which are natural diuretics that can alleviate water retention.
In addition, carrot juice and parsley juice can help to maintain blood sugar levels, which will help prevent hunger. Since carrot juice is sweet, it can also help to satisfy sugar cravings. Another vegetable to try in juices if you have a sweet tooth is Jerusalem artichoke. However, although it reduces sugar cravings, Jerusalem artichoke is bland, so it best combined with carrot, parsnip or lemon juice to bring out its flavor.
In addition to vegetables that support fat burning, there are a number of spices that can help stimulate metabolism as well. As you might expect, these include “hot” spices like cayenne, allspice, pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, and coriander.
Cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder are other spices you can use to support the fat burning process when you are juicing for weight loss.
If you must store your juice for long-term storage, one way it can be done is how people have been preserving fresh-made apple cider for many years.. they freeze it.. Of course, this should only be used as a last option and is not recommended, fresh is best.
Freeze Juice in Ice Cube Trays for longer storage. (The freezer causes more degradation than the fridge, so only do if necessary) Freeze larger volumes of juice is plastic "milk-type" jugs or plastic "water bottles". Defront and consume the whole juice after it’s defrosted.
You can pre freeze (or chill) the storage container to help keep the juice cold. When you fill your storage container, be sure to fill it to the brim, and maybe even overfill it a little before putting on the lid on the container. (You can add purified water if you do not have enough juice to completely fill the container) This is to minimize the air that is contained inside the container along with the juice. It is this air that causes some degradation of the juice. Remember to keep your juice COLD.
How many calories and grams of carbohydrates are in an 8-ounce glass?
100% Vegetable Juices contain 50 calories, are naturally fat-free, have 10 grams of carbs, and provide 2 servings of vegetables = ½ cup, 3 servings in a 12-ounce glass in every 8-ounce glass. Daily Recommendations = 2 ½ cups of a variety of vegetables for a 2,000 calorie diet.
Orange juice contains 25 grams of carbohydrates.
You need to lose at a slow and steady rate for best results. A safe and healthy rate is no more than two (2) pounds per week. This is the goal you should aim for in your weight loss program.
Lose 1 pound per week - Reduce your weekly intake of calories by 3,500 calories (3,500 divided by 7 days equals 500 calories per day).
Lose 2 pounds per week - Reduce your weekly intake of calories by 7,000 calories (7,000 calories divided by 7 days equals 1,000 calories per day).
It is very simple logic - To cut out either the 500 or 1,00 calories a day, you can either eat less calories or burn more calories by exercising. Or, to make it an easier goal to achieve, try a combination of eating fewer calories, and burning more calories more a day by exercising.
Remember that extra calories eaten and not burned off by exercise will turn into extra weight. Doesn't this sound simple? You absolutely need to regulate the calories you eat every day in order to either lose weight or to maintain your weight.
