Fruit Sauce

In a saucepan; mix together sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over moderate heat for 5 min. stirring constantly until thickened.
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 Tbs. cornstarch
Add fruit and simmer 10 min.; stirring occasionally.
2 c. frozen, fruit, thawed (or fresh)
Add butter and stir.
1 Tbs. butter
Remove from heat.
Add 1 tsp. vanilla
Maybe a bit of lemon juice
Can be stored in a container in refrigerator.
Use on your favorite pancakes, oatmeal; ice cream, ect.
