He is the Potter and we are the clay.
Are you a vessel that the Father can use?
1 Cor. 9:24 Know you not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
Have you felt tired and dragging you feet in running?
Life has been getting you down?
Well Gen. 6:9 tells says us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
People the Day of the L-rd is at hand; (which is, when the Messiah is coming to fight the last battle). Following that will be the millennium, (which is a time of teaching discipline of things you did not learn here.)
Joe 2:1 Blow you the shofar in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the L-RD cometh, yes it is right at hand!
2 Pet. 3:10 But the day of the L-rd will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
1 Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, and you shall receive a crown of glory that faded not away.
Ez. 44:16-19 They (the election) shall enter into My sanctuary, and they shall come near to My table, to minister unto Me, and they shall keep My charge (which means to complete the job).
And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates; (gates is plural for there were 3 gates, the kimbling gate, gate of the first born, and the water gate) that went to the inner court, (which was the court of the priest), and there they shall be clothed with linen garments; (linen symbolized righteousness), and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court.
(Going into the inner court of priest, I believe they were going in for instructions on the laws, to minister and judge the people.)
Liken onto the High Priest who was a symbol of the spiritual raiment: they shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, (liken on to the helmet of salvation, being traded in for a crown) and they shall have linen breeches upon their loins; (the breeches were a symbol of death to life for one must die to self to live for the L-rd.) for they shall not dress themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.
Matt 11:30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light = no sweat
And when they go forth into the outer court, (this is were the sacrifices were made) even into the outer court to the people, (the outer court symbolizes thanksgiving) they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments. (This is liken on to when in Acts 5:15 the sick would get healed under Peter’s shadow, for the garments they wore was holy).
Ez. 44:23-24 And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. And those in continuing rebellion, the elect shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to My judgments: and they shall keep my laws and My statutes (a statue means ordinance or customs), and they will do this in all Mine assemblies; and they shall sanctify My Sabbaths. (Sabbath worship was not merely a call to perform and fulfill a requirement, but represented an act of coming before the Father in direct address.)
Rev. 20: 3 says this all will go on for a thousand years but
2 Peter 3:8 states a day is like a thousand years to the Father.
All during this time G-d is consuming the evil:
So now comes the Day of G-d which is that space of time wherein the heavens is already on fire purging them of all evil, during the millennium, when the adversary will be released at its end to temp the unproven.
2Peter 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of
G-d, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
So there is a day of the L-rd and a day of G-d.
Following the day of G-d is the great white throne judgment.
Rev. 21:7 tells us that he that overcometh shall inherit all things; (inherit how many things?) and I will be his G-d, and he shall be My son.
Rev. 21:4 states G-d shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (This is after the white throne judgment and seeing love ones lost from making wrong choices).
Rev. 22:3-4 And there shall be no more bearing the weight of unresolved issues: but the throne of G-d and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him: And they shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads.
Rev. 22:12 And My reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (So what ever assignment the Father gives us, His reward will equip us for the job!)
Rev. 22:14 Blessed are they that do His commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
(I personally plan on going through the Beautiful Gate that is at the east entrance which is the gate the Hebrews expect the Messiah to enter).
Rev. 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
(Sounding like once a month we will be eating from the tree of life its fruit and its leaves).
Isa. 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the L-RD, my soul shall be joyful in my G-d; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decked himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorned herself with her jewels.
Rev. 19:7-8 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
2 Tim. 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the L-rd, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.
(How do you get the crown of righteousness?)
James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the L-rd hath promised to them that love him. (How do you receive the crown of life?)
Then follows eternity the ultimate inheritance!
During eternity we will be praising and worshipping the Father by walking in righteousness. What useful vessels we will be then!
So run the race renewing your mind daily!
Heb. 12:1-3 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, (everyone is watching you), let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily overwhelmed us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto the Messiah the author and finisher of our faith; lest you be wearied and faint in your own minds.
Think like winners for your inheritance waits on the other side of the blue ribbon! And to Father be the glory!!
If there is anyone here today that needs prayer to get back in to the race - or any one wants to join the race - or needs energy to keep running the course - please step forward and the Seasoned Warrior’s of this body will be happy to pray with you.
I hope to see you all at the finish line!
