Scriptual Promises 2005

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. For all the promises of G-d in him are yours, and in him Amen, unto the glory of G-d. See that you are not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience were persuaded by the promises, embraced them, and inherited them. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. The children of the promise are counted for the seed! Till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. But the Scripture has stated all are under sin, that the promise by faith of the Messiah might be given to them that believe. And if you belong to the Messiah, then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. Having the promise of abundant life that now is, and of that which is to come, He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. He has promised to be your healer and provider. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the L-rd our G-d shall call. Is His mercy clean gone forever? Doth His promise fail forevermore? NO! For He remembered His holy promises! There hath not failed one word of all His good promises. May you stagger not at the promise of G-d through unbelief; but be strong in faith, giving glory to the Father. Having therefore these promises let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of G-d. Blessed be the L-rd that has given rest unto His people according to all that He promised; and there has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised you. And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by G-d unto our fathers.
