Kill the Worm

If you are a very hungry worm that is looking to make a change in your life, you will go through many different experiences in search of this change and you may be having a hard time finding what you’re looking for, who you want to become?
Are you stuck in the worm stage of adolescence? Have you fallen backward, gone under cover, crawling into your skin and stayed there?
Who wants to stay at one place when you could be transformed into a beautiful butterfly? One must kill the worm, shed its skin and emerge into all you are meant to be!

As a worm dining in the bright sunshine, you grew bigger and fatter and happier, as should happen from eating lots and lots of good nourishment from the Scriptures. But if the worm chose not to eat, he would slide down into the safety of the quiet, still and dirty earth. In the earth, he would meet other creatures who crawled where he liked to crawl.
Over time, he would forget how yummy the abundant Scriptures had been. He would forget how beautiful the world could look when viewed from Heavenly knowledge. And he would forget that there was more to life than crawling around in the dirty earth like other worms.
One dreary rainy day, in the quiet muddy earth, he poked his head out of the ground to see what had happened and came face to face with a gorgeous butterfly. One can always find redemption and move forward by breaking that mold you fell into. Killing the worm stage.

"You are not a worm, my friend, and it's a very long climb back up to the good nourishment food, but how can I make you understand how delightful G-d’s Word is to feast upon. It's worth all the hardship and discipline it takes to get there. I invite you to come along -- but the choice is yours. A worm who thinks he can live there and eat there and not fall off is living in an illusion. The fall is not what we should fear, but staying in the dirt after the fall -- now that is what should make us tremble with motivation to do what we have to do to become the butterflies we were created to be. You cannot see the real me, nor can you know the real you, unless you give a good try."
